So far, it is more popular to go to the United States, Germany and other countries to learn more knowledge, and many people have returned from their studies to contribute to the construction of the country. In fact, in foreign countries, it may not be easy to return after completing your studies, and every country wants to keep talents in their own country, so many things can happen that we can't imagine.
There were once two geniuses in the mainland who wanted to return to China, but they both died in foreign countries because of accidents, and the cause of death was the same. Whether this is a coincidence or another inside story is still inconclusive, these two people are Ren Wei and Zhang Shousheng.
1. Genius mathematician Ren Wei
Born in Shanghai, Ren Wei did not have a particularly impressive background, and he was impressed by his talent for mathematics. In 2008, Ren Wei, who had completed his studies, planned to return to China to work and continue to study his field of mathematics. Just when everything was ready, Ren Wei died in Chicago. And the Chicago police investigation found that Ren Wei died by suicide. It is not uncommon for many people to commit suicide every year, and it is strange why Ren Wei committed suicide when he was ready to return to China.
For Ren Wei's suicide, his family and friends are really unacceptable, they really can't imagine that this lively and sunny boy would choose to commit suicide, and they have not been able to find the reason for Ren Wei's suicide.
2. Genius physicist Zhang Shousheng
Zhang Shousheng was born in Shanghai in 1963, his grandfather was a student of Fudan University, Zhang Shousheng did not like to run around like other children since he was a child, but sat at home and read quietly.
When Zhang Shousheng was 14 years old, the state introduced a new policy that people with a junior high school degree or equivalent can apply for university, but the number of places is very limited. This is a rare opportunity for Zhang Shousheng, although he did not go to high school, but he has learned far more than high school.
After Zhang Shousheng's efforts, this very talented teenager was admitted to the Department of Physics of Fudan University in Shanghai with excellent results. After he came to the university, he found that he was not an anomaly, and everyone in the school loved to read and study as much as he did.
In his sophomore year, Zhang Shousheng's excellent grades gave him the opportunity to study in Germany, which made him very happy. What made him even more overjoyed was that he was going to the Free University of Berlin in Germany, where the famous physicists Schrödinger and Planck came from, and his field was theoretical physics, and he completed the five-year course in three years.
Few people can graduate from Zhang Shousheng's major, and most people will choose to change majors or go out to work, because it is too difficult, but Zhang Shousheng from China graduated smoothly, and in the eyes of Zhang Shousheng's classmates, he is an out-and-out genius.
In order to establish a unified theory of physics, he apprenticed to Yang Zhenning, but Yang Zhenning did not advise Zhang Shousheng to do so, because this ideal swallowed Yang Zhenning's life like a bottomless pit, and he certainly couldn't bear to let his students follow his old path. Yang Zhenning suggested that Zhang Shousheng turn to the relatively unpopular research direction of polyphysics physics, and later Zhang Shousheng made great achievements in his field.
He discovered the "quantum spin Hall effect" and applied it to conductors called "topological insulators", which caused a great sensation in the physics world at the time. He also led the team to find the "God particle", which, once successfully applied, would have a drastic impact on humanity.
In 2018, Zhang Shousheng made all the preparations to return to China, and on the eve of his overjoyed preparation for the return journey, his family issued a statement saying that Zhang Shousheng chose to end his life because of severe depression, and the US police announced after an investigation that Zhang Shousheng committed suicide.
3. Is it a conspiracy or an accident?
Geographically speaking, Ren Wei and Zhang Shousheng are not in the same place, not even in the same country, so it is impossible for them to have any connection geographically, so what made them end their lives in the same way at the same time?
One is a genius in mathematics and the other is a genius in physics, and if they return to China smoothly, the mainland will inevitably have a great improvement in the fields of mathematics and physics. In particular, Zhang Shousheng's 5G research and development will definitely allow the mainland to enter the advanced 5G era in advance. But these two geniuses not only did not return to China, but also left this world forever.
They died very strangely, if they had to commit suicide, they would not have the idea of returning home, they had made all the preparations to return to China, but they both committed suicide the day before departure, which makes it difficult for us to believe that it was not man-made, but to this day we do not have sufficient evidence to prove the speculation and doubts in our hearts.

After the deaths of Zhang Shousheng and Ren Wei, it was difficult for the Chinese people to believe the results of the investigation given by the police. If they are two people who are prone to suicide, then how can they have such achievements? Generally speaking, the great people who have achieved great things are very open-minded and have a very high ideological realm.
Ren Wei's family has repeatedly emphasized that Ren Wei's temperament is very good, and he is also very optimistic about life. I have never talked about any knots in my heart that I can't untie, so such a sudden suicide is really unbelievable and unacceptable.
Mr. Zhang's family said he had seen Ms. Meng the night before he committed suicide, and that the police detained Ms. Meng after announcing Mr. Zhang's suicide. This approach makes people feel very strange, Zhang Shousheng committed suicide, which has nothing to do with Meng Wanzhou, as why did the police detain this unrelated person?
It can only be said that if these two geniuses return to China smoothly, the mainland's scientific and technological strength will be greatly improved, and although there is no breakthrough in the cause of their deaths, it is imperative for us to protect talents as Chinese.
