Niubeiliang National Forest Park, located in Yingpan Town, Zhashui County, on the southern slope of the Qinling Mountains, has a wide altitude range, from 1,000 meters to 2,802 meters. Here, dense primeval forests, clear pond streams, unique canyon scenery and rare stone forest landscapes gather in one park, forming a rare landscape diversity and uniqueness in China.
Overview of the four major scenic spots
Takin Valley Landscape Recreation Area: Enjoy the green mountains and green waters with southern characteristics, and experience the folk culture of Qin Feng and Chu Yun.
Liuchiling Peak Forest Scenic Area: Enjoy the alpine scenery and Quaternary glacial relics.
Niubeiliang Alpine Scenic Area: Climb high and look far away, and have a glimpse of the scenery of China.
Iron Buddha Temple Religious and Cultural Area: Feel the tranquility of the temple and the weight of history.

Off-season fare: 90 yuan/person, peak season fare: 110 yuan/person.
Directions
Bus routes: Take the shuttle bus to Zhashui at Xi'an Chengnan Bus Station, depart at 6:00 in the morning, every 20 minutes, the fare is 28 yuan. After arriving in Zhashui, transfer to the bus to Niubeiliang, the fare is 9 yuan.
Self-driving route: Starting from Xi'an, get on the Ring Expressway, go to Yingpan Exit via Baomao Expressway, go left for 5 kilometers, and the whole journey is about 60 kilometers.
Day trip itinerary: Gather at 7:00 in the morning and set off, cross the Qinling Zhongnanshan Tunnel, which is known as the "first tunnel in the world", enjoy the scenery along the way, and then arrive at Niubeiliang National Forest Park. Visit the Takin Valley Scenic Area to experience the natural scenery and folk culture of the southern slope of the Qinling Mountains. In the afternoon, go down the mountain to the old house of Tailing in Zhongnan Cottage to feel the charm of stone art. Gather at approximately 4:30 PM and return to Xi'an.
