The Chaonan District Government announced that it has agreed to expropriate 10.4896 hectares (equivalent to 157.34 acres) of collective land under the five economic cooperative associations of Beiyang, Shikeng, Tiansi, Xiwei and Nanpu in Longtian Town as state-owned land to support the construction of supporting infrastructure (new construction project of Chensha Avenue East Extension) project in Chaonan District Textile Industrial Park. Here are the highlights of the announcement:

- Total land area: 10.4896 hectares
- Land type: agricultural land
- Project use: transportation land
3. Owner of the expropriated land:
- Longtian Town Beiyang, Shikeng, Tiansi, Xiwei, Nanpu Economic Cooperative Association
4. Land requisition compensation and resettlement standards and payment methods:
- Compensation standard: In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, the total compensation for land acquisition is 26,848,923 yuan
【Beiyang Economic Association】
The area is 1.4409 hectares, the compensation for green seedlings is 249,600 yuan, and the total compensation for land acquisition is 3,640,758 yuan.
【Shikeng Economic Cooperative Association】
The area is 0.8339 hectares, the compensation for green seedlings is 149,400 yuan, and the total compensation for land acquisition is 2,111,984 yuan.
【Tiansi Economic Association】
The area is 60,894 hectares, the compensation fee for green seedlings is 1,073,730 yuan, the compensation fee for above-ground attachments is 277,499 yuan, and the total compensation for land acquisition is 15,682,632 yuan.
【Xiwei Economic Association】 With an area of 2.0249 hectares, the compensation fee for green seedlings is 390,440 yuan, the compensation fee for above-ground attachments is 2,860 yuan, and the total compensation for land acquisition is 5,158,902 yuan.
【Nanpu Economic Association】 The area is 0.1005 hectares, the compensation for green seedlings is 18,120 yuan, and the total compensation for land acquisition is 254,647 yuan.

5. Resettlement of reserved land:
- Each economic cooperative association chooses to retain land, and the total area of reserved land is 0.2161 hectares, calculated according to the proportion of 15% of the land area expropriated

- According to the relevant policies, the district human resources and social security department shall handle the social security of farmers
7. Failure to register compensation as scheduled:
