Recently, the State Administration of Radio and Television issued the "Notice on the Distribution Permit of Domestic Online Dramas in China from October to December 2023".

According to the notice, from October to December 2023, a total of 476 domestic online dramas and 7,967 episodes were issued by the national radio and television authorities. Among them, there are 46 online dramas with 1,172 episodes, 153 online short dramas with 3,532 episodes, 92 online movies, and 185 online cartoons with 3,171 episodes.

Among the online dramas, there are 16 urban themes with 370 episodes, 1 youth theme with 24 episodes, 1 revolutionary theme with 24 episodes, 6 public security themes with 136 episodes, 4 legendary themes with 102 episodes, 2 martial arts themes with 60 episodes, and 16 other themes with 456 episodes.

Among the online micro-short dramas, there are 81 urban themes with 1770 episodes, 4 rural themes with 153 episodes, 1 youth theme with 21 episodes, 1 judicial theme with 12 episodes, 1 public security theme with 23 episodes, 4 science fiction themes with 98 episodes, 13 legendary themes with 318 episodes, 3 martial arts themes with 64 episodes, 2 court themes with 127 episodes, and 43 other themes with 946 episodes.

Among the online movies, there are 29 urban themes, 1 rural theme, 1 youth theme, 1 revolutionary theme, 1 military theme, 7 public security themes, 6 science fiction themes, 1 biography theme, 16 legendary themes, 9 martial arts themes, and 20 other themes.

Among the online cartoons, there are 8 urban themes with 89 episodes, 22 youth themes with 1358 episodes, 12 science fiction themes with 90 episodes, 80 legendary themes with 922 episodes, 10 martial arts themes with 95 episodes, and 53 other themes with 617 episodes.
