On January 24, the second member congress of the third session of the Huixing Street Chamber of Commerce in Yubei District, Chongqing and the 2024 Spring Festival group meeting were held in the Yinxin Hall on the third floor of the Yinxin Century Hotel. More than 250 members of the Huixing Street Chamber of Commerce and member representatives attended the meeting. The meeting kicked off with the solemn national anthem. The member representatives listened to and reviewed the "2023 Work Report of the Huixing Street Chamber of Commerce" submitted by President Wang Xiaoyong, the "Financial Revenue and Expenditure of the Chamber of Commerce in 2023" announced by Huang Haiqing, the chairman of the Board of Supervisors, and the list of proposed vice presidents and directors of the Chamber of Commerce. After a show of hands by the member representatives, the proposed vice president and director were formally elected as members of the third council of the chamber of commerce. Wang Xiaoyong emphasized in the report: In 2023, the Chamber of Commerce has achieved remarkable results, won the title of Chongqing Federation of Industry and Commerce 2023 Characteristic Demonstration Chamber of Commerce, and has been rated as the "Four Good Chamber of Commerce" and advanced collective of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce for six consecutive years. At the same time, the "Vulgar Block" project of the Chamber of Commerce was rated as an excellent brand of "One Meeting, One Product" of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce.
Gu Guoyan, vice president of the Huixing Street Chamber of Commerce, Ruan Huayou, minister of economic development, and Tan Weiwei, director of the Construction Engineering Special Committee, respectively reported to the conference on the work during their tenure. Vice President Zhao Xiangyang and Director Huang Ya shared their experience of joining the Chamber of Commerce, and said that they deeply felt the power of unity and warmth in the big family of the Chamber of Commerce.
At the meeting, 10 units including Chongqing Guibeijiao Liquor Co., Ltd. were rated as outstanding vice president units, 10 units including Longfeng Lu Liquor Restaurant in Yubei District were rated as excellent director units, and 10 units including Meijia Meishe Family Service (Chongqing) Co., Ltd. were rated as outstanding member units. Comrade Wu Xiaohai won the "Practical Exploration Award", Comrade Lei Shijun won the "Best Dedication Award", Comrade Gu Guoyan won the "Innovation and Development Award", Comrade Tan Weiwei won the "Outstanding Contribution Award", and Comrade Huang Xiaoya won the "Love Messenger Award".
Xu Jijiang, director of the Huixing Sub-district Office, emphasized that the Huixing Chamber of Commerce has developed rapidly in recent years and has achieved certain results. In view of the work of the Chamber of Commerce this year, he put forward four suggestions: first, strengthen the leadership of party building, in-depth study and practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, improve political consciousness, and clarify the position of responsibilities; The third is to give full play to the advantages of bridges, give full play to the role of the link between the government and members, actively respond to the needs and expectations of members, and solve practical problems such as employment problems; the fourth is to have the courage to assume social responsibility, participate in glorious undertakings and public welfare and charity activities, so as to be rich and responsible, rich and loving, and contribute to the action of "ten thousand enterprises and ten thousand villages".
Guo Bin, vice chairman of the CPPCC Yubei District and chairman of the District Federation of Industry and Commerce, said that the grassroots chamber of commerce should do a good job in legal protection, financial and industrial services, investment promotion and other aspects, play an active role, enhance the platform function of the chamber of commerce, strive to create a municipal and national four good chamber of commerce, and contribute to the economic development of Yubei District.
Fan Wenjia, member of the party group and full-time vice chairman of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, fully affirmed the achievements of the Huixing Street Chamber of Commerce in recent years. He stressed that the mainland attaches great importance to the development of the private economy, and asked the participants to keep in mind the principle of "two healths", actively study and convey the spirit of the two sessions in Chongqing, and ensure that every member can deeply understand the connotation of the spirit of the two sessions.
