In order to further strengthen the management of campus fire safety, comprehensively do a good job in campus fire safety, and effectively prevent and reduce the occurrence of fire accidents. Recently, the Yaodu District Fire and Rescue Brigade and the District Education and Science Bureau carried out a fire safety inspection of schools in the district.
During the period, the inspection team focused on the fire prevention inspection system, emergency plan, fire safety management system, fire protection facilities and equipment self-inspection records and other archives of each school. On the spot, the evacuation channels of key parts of the school such as teaching buildings, laboratories, dormitories, and canteens are kept unblocked, whether the emergency lighting and evacuation indication signs are damaged, whether the fire extinguishers, fire hydrants and other fire-fighting facilities are kept intact and effective, and whether the safety measures for fire, electricity and gas in the canteen are in place. In view of the requirements of student dormitories, all schools are required to strengthen the staffing and capacity improvement of dormitory management, strengthen the control of power supply and fire sources, strengthen the refinement of plans and drills floor by building, and suggest that for each key part, it is required to implement daily safety management to the specific departments and personnel of the school. In response to the problems found in the inspection, the inspection team gave feedback on the rectification opinions and suggestions on the spot, requiring the school to make immediate changes, completely eliminate potential safety hazards, and be sure to regularly inspect and maintain fire-fighting equipment and facilities, so as to create a safe learning and working environment for teachers and students.
Through this joint inspection, the problems and deficiencies in the fire safety management of the school were pointed out, and the awareness of the main responsibility of fire protection and safety precautions on the campus was further strengthened. In the next step, the brigade will continue to work with relevant departments to continue to supervise and guide the fire safety work of schools in the jurisdiction, create a safe and harmonious educational environment, and lay a solid foundation for students to provide a good fire safety environment.
