The New Year is approaching, and the 2024 Shanghai Yu Garden Lantern Festival has entered the countdown.
In the past two days, citizens and tourists have explored the "staggered peaks", and all kinds of lantern groups with dragons as the theme in Yu Garden have dazzled people and pressed the shutter one after another.
The four major door headlight groups are themed "Dragon Travels the Four Seas". The four gates are the door of the dragon world, the door of wishing, the door of purification, the door of prayer, the gate of Tengda, which is guarded by the dragon god general, and the opportunity of the New Year in Yu Garden is open to invite people to enter the dragon world and explore the journey.
With the theme of "Mirage", the main light group of the Golden Square is inspired by the origin of the ancient marine creation myth, taking the Penglai Immortal Mountain from the "Classic of Mountains and Seas", and combining the mirror elements to create the ethereal inspiration of the mirror flowers and the moon, presenting a fantasy and magnificent deep-sea fairyland paradise. The underwater world is guarded by Fu Lu Shou, the symbol of the "Three Immortals of Penglai", and visitors can walk through it, and the route is like a dragon, which means "hidden dragon".
The main light group of the central square is themed "Flying Dragon Leaping into the Sea". A giant yellow dragon broke through the sea and rose to the sky, embracing and guarding a blue ball held up by the waves, guarding the growth of all things, implying the protection of the homeland by the dragon, showing the great harmony of the world, open and inclusive demeanor of a great country. Among the surrounding waves, the dragons of different shapes leap and dance together, symbolizing the unity of the sons and daughters of China, striving for the realization of a common beautiful ideal, and dancing for the prosperity of the world. Between the waves, the huge Sinan floats on the sea, symbolizing the opening of the Age of Human Discovery and the awakening of global consciousness. A magnificent scene of "Chinese dragons, dancing together in the prosperous era" is presented in the central square.
The Jiuqu area integrates the galaxy and the ocean, bringing all the romantic imagination about the sea to visitors, and presenting the ultimate dreamy and ethereal visual feast. Stepping into the nine songs, what catches your eye is the magical aquarium world - fish swaying, jellyfish floating, coral glow, waves rolling clouds, visitors wandering in the meantime, as if swimming in the sea of stars, stars and brilliant stars.

In order to ensure the safety and comfort of citizens and tourists, the 2024 Yu Garden Lantern Festival will be implemented from February 10 (the first day of the Lunar New Year) to February 25 (16) with tickets for admission by ticket.
Except for the time when tickets are sold in different periods during the Spring Festival, admission is free for citizens and tourists.
Ticket price: 80 yuan for adults and 50 yuan for children.
