Whether it is the floor heating that was generally popular in previous years, or the "dismantling of floor heating and replacing radiators" that began this year, Obuchi is opposed. Floor heating and radiators are not perfect, but they also have their own suitable people. Removing the floor heating and replacing the radiator is more of a gimmick of the business. Today we will analyze the characteristics of floor heating and radiators.
Floor heating丨The pursuit of comfort
The biggest selling point of underfloor heating is comfort, which can be reflected in two aspects:
• The location of the heat is reasonable, and the heat is generated from the foot upward. The human head is the most afraid of heat, and the feet are the most afraid of cold, and the hot position of floor heating can avoid dry mouth. Moreover, the heat is moving upward, and the floor heating is the same heat as the whole house floor, so the temperature of the room using floor heating is more balanced.
• The "hot ground" is comfortable, so children can run around barefoot on the ground, and adults can sit on the floor like children. Especially when combined with wooden flooring, the whole floor will become warm and soft, and the comfort is excellent.
But many people who have used underfloor heating will report a problem - dust and hair on the ground will float up with the heat, resulting in a decrease in indoor air quality. This made me, a northerner, stunned for a moment, and then understood:
The heating requirement of underfloor heating is "low temperature and high pressure", and the water circulation speed in the water pipe should be fast, but the water temperature should be low. The water temperature and water pressure of collective heating are provided by the heating company, and in order to save costs, people will never provide too high temperatures.
But wall-hung boiler heating is different, and if you spend your own money, you naturally think that the higher the temperature, the better. If the ground temperature is too high, it is easy for dust to drift into the air. Therefore, the correct approach should be: reduce the temperature of the wall-hung boiler (no more than 55 °C), and use a high-power water pump to achieve "low temperature and high pressure" heating.
Radiator丨Pursue economy
The economics of radiators can be reflected in two aspects:
• Low installation cost, radiator installation cost is less than half of the cost of underfloor heating. And it is more convenient to repair in the future, and the open pipe can be directly replaced. When the floor heating is repaired, the ground needs to be dissected, which is troublesome and costly, and there will be additional losses (the ground needs to be redecorated).
• The cost of use is also lower for radiators, mainly because the radiators heat up quickly, which can almost be said to be "instant heating", while underfloor heating needs to be turned on for a few hours before the room heats up. Wall-hung boiler users are accustomed to "turning off during the day and opening at night", and it may be time to turn off the floor heating temperature before it rises overnight.
Before using radiators, many people may also have some concerns. One of the most common concerns is the issue of "space": underfloor heating is hidden below the ground, and the impact on space is almost zero. Do radiators affect indoor spaces?
Truth be told, this question will definitely have an impact. Although the radiator is against the wall, it still affects the placement of the furniture. Not only can furniture not be against the wall where there are radiators, but sometimes clinging to the radiators can also affect the life of the furniture.
But if you use your brain, you can still find ways to improve. For example, it is made into radiator hangers, radiator towel racks, and so on.
Is it worth dismantling the floor heating and replacing the radiators?
Sometimes Xiao Yuan is in a trance: most of the people who dismantle the floor heating and replace the radiators this year are southerners, that is, users who burn wall-hung stoves. Is it true that they think radiators are better to use when they remove the floor heating? Is it partly because they want to save money?
If this is the case, please dismantle it without hesitation: the high cost of underfloor heating is inevitable and unavoidable. If you happen to have no decoration and are more price-sensitive, please also choose the radiator directly, so that you can also save a sum of installation fees.
But if you want to remove the underfloor heating for the following purposes, you should think carefully:
• For the sake of "beauty": Some radiators are indeed beautifully dressed up by their owners, but no matter how beautiful they are, they are not as beautiful as floor heating with nothing exposed.
As I mentioned earlier, the air quality temperature encountered by underfloor heating is entirely due to the wrong setting of the wall-hung boiler. On the contrary, it is a radiator, and the surface is easy to fall dust.

(2) Users of 24-hour wall-hung boilers do not need to consider the heating speed, so the cost of floor heating will drop a lot.
(3) The heating water temperature and water pressure in the home of the collective heating user are fixed, so it is recommended not to change between the radiator and the floor heating, and use whatever the rough room is.
