From the perspective of the eight major industries of the national economy surveyed, the transportation industry index rose by 1.5 points throughout the year, the construction industry index rose by 1.4 points throughout the year, and the accommodation and catering industry index rose by 1.3 points throughout the year, ranking among the top three industries.

Statistics from the China Association of Small and Medium Enterprises also show that in 2023, the mainland will introduce more than 100 policies and measures to support the development of the private economy, involving finance, finance, optimizing the business environment, and reducing the cost of water and electricity.

Tax data shows that the vitality of mainland business entities continues to improve

According to the latest data from the State Administration of Taxation, in the first 11 months of 2023, 15.151 million business entities went to the tax department to handle tax-related matters such as tax identification, invoice collection, and tax declaration, a year-on-year increase of 25.4%. Among them, there were 10.557 million active tax households that received invoices and had income declarations in the current year, accounting for 69.7% of all new households, an increase of 3.1 percentage points year-on-year.

The increase in the activity of business entities has also brought new vitality to the development of the economic circle. In the first 11 months of 2023, a total of 6.994 million new tax-related business entities were established in the four major economic circles of the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Chengdu-Chongqing, accounting for 46.2% of all new households.

At the same time, the industrial structure is also continuously optimized. Among them, the number of new households in the Internet information technology service industry increased by 32% year-on-year, achieving rapid growth.
