2-1! Liverpool refused to cause an upset, a thrilling stunner, Klopp made a substitution, and the substitute scored
The first leg of the EFL Cup semi-final is contested with Liverpool hosting Fulham. In the first half, a desperate shot was confiscated, Jota fired wide from a tight angle, Andreas Pereira set up Willian to open the scoring and McAllister shot from distance was blocked. In the second half, Hrafenberg fired wide from distance, Jones equalised, Gakpo slotted home and Nunez had a header saved. In the end, Liverpool came back from behind to beat Fulham 2-1.

In the 56th minute, Liverpool made substitutions, Nunez and Gakpo came on as substitutes, and Hrafenberg and Elliott were substituted, which was a signal to strengthen the attack. In the 63rd brain, Reid shot from the right side of the penalty area and was saved. In the 68th minute, Liverpool finally scored when Jones' long-range shot hit Diop, and the ball deflected into the back of the net. Liverpool equalised.
In the 71st minute, Liverpool scored again. Nunez sent in a cross from the left and Gakpo flanked in to score. Liverpool completed the comeback. Jurgen Klopp made a substitution and two substitutes combined to score. Jota then fired a burst shot high. After that, Nunez's header was magically cleared by the goalkeeper. In the end, Liverpool came back from behind to beat Fulham 2-1.
