Lin Wuyan, a boy born in the seventies from Huilai County, Jieyang City, has developed a strong interest in Teochew opera since he was a child.

In 1994, Lin Wuyan entered the Shantou Opera School to study mass literature and art, and began to receive systematic art education and training.
