In 2023, the United States, Japan and South Korea will hold meetings at the level of deputy foreign ministers, and by 2024 it has been upgraded to the so-called "Indo-Pacific Dialogue", and like in 2023, the "Indo-Pacific Dialogue" in 2024 issued a "Joint Statement", which openly interfered in China's internal affairs, and the United States, Japan and South Korea drew a red line for the PLA through the "Joint Statement". According to information disclosed by foreign media, the United States, Japan, and South Korea have openly made irresponsible remarks about the Taiwan Strait issue, and already have the intention of not allowing the military reunification of Taiwan Island, which is a big bet that the PLA will tolerate the rhythm.
When Taiwan sprints for the 2024 "general election", the United States, Japan and South Korea jointly drew a red line, highlighting the rhythm of supporting Taiwan. In fact, as early as 2023, Japan and South Korea have been supporting the United States' Taiwan Strait policy, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida publicly stated that China is not allowed to change the status quo, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol declared that the conflict in the Taiwan Strait will impact Kazakhstan and South Korea, and now Japan and South Korea are closely following the position of the United States and openly declaring their concern for peace in the Taiwan Strait.
The meaning expressed by the United States, Japan, and the ROK through the "joint statement" has been very clear, that is, it is to give the DPP authorities on Taiwan more illusions and make the DPP on Taiwan believe that the United States, Japan, and South Korea will come forward to protect Taiwan, so that the United States can further use the "Taiwan card" to contain China's development and rise. On the Taiwan Strait issue, the United States has played a very disgraceful role, and although the "August 17 Communique" was issued, the United States still declared that it would arm Taiwan in accordance with the so-called "Taiwan Relations Act" in order to enhance Taiwan's defense capability. The United States has not stopped arming Taiwan, including exporting fighter jets and artillery, highlighting the hostile stance of the United States towards China.
The purpose of the United States in arming Taiwan is very clear, that is, to enhance Taiwan's strength in "resisting reunification by force." For this reason, even if China strongly protests, the United States is providing weapons to Taiwan. At present, the United States still has more than $20 billion in weapons and equipment that has not been delivered to Taiwan, and at the same time the United States is still selling weapons to Taiwan, including upgrading and updating Taiwan's existing weapons and equipment, and so on, and recently Taiwan has completed the transformation of 141 F-16A/B fighters by purchasing kits from the United States, thus becoming the F-16V Bullock 20 batch of fighters.
With regard to the aggressive posture adopted by the United States and the frequent provocations launched by the Democratic Progressive Party on Taiwan Island, the Chinese ambassador to the United States publicly stated on 9 January that the Chinese Government has no room for compromise with the "Taiwan independence" elements who have forgotten their ancestors and do not recognize themselves as Chinese. At the same time, the Chinese ambassador to the United States also called on the United States to abide by the provisions of the "August 17 Communique" and the "one-China principle" on the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States. The United States has repeatedly stated that it does not support "Taiwan independence", but the Biden administration has not implemented it concretely, so the Chinese ambassador to the United States called on the United States to implement its statement.
