Why will I never go back. Because that's what life really is.

John doesn't seem to care about the traffic after being throttled, and every video is still sharp. This video is still the same, he made it clear that he has taken his wife and children over, and will not go back no matter what, he doesn't want to worry about accidents when he kisses his wife and children goodbye every morning, and he doesn't have to worry about LGBT anymore, so there is a real life here.

As a white Australian male, I went to my ancestral country, Greece, and spent some time in my grandfather's village (who has passed away). I rented a car and drove along the amazing highways of Greece at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour and I went far away in mainland Greece. I was amazed at the number of Chinese tourists in Greece, far more than American tourists. My opinion?Relative to the average salary of Americans, they may be higher than China, however, US citizens have to pay for all the civic infrastructure (e.g. expensive cars/trains/buses, towns on the road, high school tuition, expensive food, ridiculously high medical bills, etc.), and US citizens are forced to live on a paycheck. If they default on their repayments, they lose their home. In China, everything is either free or extremely cheap. The wages of ordinary people. Although less than in the United States, they left a lot of pocket money, which they saved to travel. So, it shouldn't be based on how much money people make, but on how much money people have left. In such an indicator, it is clear that Chinese citizens are richer than American citizens. The Chinese working class has better quality of living, transportation ($8,000 for an electric car), better home and personal technology, and they end up with more money to spend. (Some of the content of this comment is disapproving and is sorted out only because I rarely see such a filter!)

What a dramatic change things have been! Moldy country dream. Asians consider the mold country to be an ideal destination. Many people wish to emigrate to the mold country. Apparently, the dream was shattered. I'm sad to see all this happening!

Dude, you're such a keen observer! I'll admit that I never thought that a man born in a moldy country would be so sensitive to Asian culture that he could name the complex differences between Asian culture and his own, and that your willingness to admit that Asian culture is actually superior to your own culture seems to me to make me admire you even more! We are taught to think this way from the day we are born! But it is not always good to have such an inflated ego because it prevents us from Xi learning from others and trying to improve ourselves.

I've been in the country for 23 years and I agree with you. It's boring here, unless you're super rich. I hope to move back to China.

You have a point. In the moldy country, the big companies with restaurants have killed mom-and-pop shops. Everywhere you go, you can see McDonald's, Taco Bell, Wendy burgers, and the like damn things. Now that inflation is so high, most people can only afford junk food like burgers and hot dogs. A serving of cheap junk food from McDonald's can now easily cost you $14. Mold countries need street food like many Asian countries. By the way, renting a two-bedroom apartment in a major California city can easily reach $3,500 per month, depending on the location. A two-bedroom apartment near the school campus rents for $6,000 per month. Americans can no longer afford to pay for college. Food is too expensive, and housing costs are ridiculously high. However, our government is sending money to Er Gee and Xiao Yi to support them. We need to fix our country. Thanks for sharing, John. I wish you a happy life in China. You are realizing the Chinese dream.

Thank you very much, Mr. John. Based on all the information you provide...... The cost of living in China is 4 times cheaper than in the United States. I have lived in Australia for a long time. United States and Canada. I've been to New York several times. I bought groceries. I ate at a small local restaurant. Noodles cost $10-$15 at a restaurant in Chinatown. For the same money you can have a 3-course dinner in China, haha. Average wages in China are still low. But if expats can find a good job. The salary will be much higher. In New York, for example, a bank job with an annual salary of 150,000 is not easy to get. But in the moldy country, there are homeless people and addicts in the city center. In New York, going out at night makes me feel uneasy. In China, walking alone at night is a breeze.... In the country of mold, everything is expensive, low-quality food and poor service, and people are gradually disappearing here.

This year marks my seventh year living in China. I'm planning to go back to New York for the first time since the pandemic began. I'm curious (and a little cautious) about what I'll find...... But don't worry, I'll record the video.

Your story reminds me of a friend of mine who said, "I make less money in Malaysia than I make in Australia now, but why do I feel poorer in Australia?"

I've never thought about food/restaurant things, it's one thing that's amazing about China, although there are only a few chain restaurants that are Chinese, the vast majority are family restaurants, each one is unique, it's true!

As I told you, I've also lived here for 14 years. Not planning to move back. In my circle of expat friends, I am known as a "lifelong traveler".

You're living your life, why go back to not having one?

This is a very frank point. I have a feeling that many Westerners are moving to Asia.

You have found the "American Dream" in China......

The 9-to-5 job is no longer applicable in the mold country. If your salary is average, you must work between 60 and 95 hours a week to make ends meet.

For me, my mortgage was paid off, my car loan was paid off; However, my property taxes and homeowner's insurance went up quite a bit last year. Insurance for homeowners increased from $2,200/year to $5,000/year. My car insurance has gone up, and I'm a good driver. I haven't had an accident in 21 years. Utility bills have gone up, as have food costs, health insurance costs, etc.

It is a mistake to think that inflation will not affect you because you are not in debt. I'm seriously thinking about leaving the country.
