On the first day of work after New Year's Day, the company received an unloading notice, indicating that a truckload of goods was sent from Guangzhou to our company. Although it was a holiday, without prior notice, I walked out of the company and saw a 13.5-meter semi-trailer parked at the door. After confirming that the driver is from Guangzhou, arrange the unloading work. Chatting with the driver, I learned that he and his wife are both in their 50s and have no need to go home for the holidays, because both parents have long since passed away and their son works in Beijing. They call the van home, and the cab is their home when they are on the road. Even on New Year's Day, they still chose to stick to their jobs. In the process of unloading, it was learned that they chose to give up the reunion in order to deliver each order in time. Although they didn't go back to their hometown until after New Year's Day, for them, they just went home to relax, because there was no one at home anymore. During the conversation, I felt the couple's perseverance and dedication to their work. For the sake of their son's future, they still stick to their delivery posts despite the limited opportunities to meet. On this special New Year's Day, I send them blessings and lament the hard work and unfairness of logistics drivers. Even though New Year's Day has passed, I say Happy New Year's Day to them, hoping that they can feel warm. At this moment, I realized the reality and hardships of life, and I cherished the moment of family reunion even more.
