It is understood that the Wulongquan overpass was built in the 90s of the last century, has been in service for more than 30 years, due to the long-term bear of heavy-duty freight traffic, the bridge has serious diseases, there are greater potential safety hazards, and it has been tested and assessed as a 4-class bridge. In July last year, our district started the repair and reinforcement of the bridge.
After the reinforcement and reconstruction of the bridge, the bridge deck is clean and smooth, the sidewalk guardrail is selected to be eye-catching orange, and the outer guardrail of the bridge is also higher and stronger than before, and the safety of pedestrians in the past has been greatly improved. At the same time, the two sides of the main bridge have also been replaced with better quality anti-throwing nets to prevent the bridge deck from falling objects from affecting the operation of the railway below.
