A few days ago, Shijiazhuang Taihang Wildlife Rescue Station received calls from a number of citizens, saying that a black swan with blind eyes was found in the Gaocheng section of the Hutuo River, and had been stranded here for more than 20 days.

After receiving the news, the ambulance station twice sent ambulances to the scene to rescue, but because the black swan was alert, as soon as it found that the ambulance personnel were approaching, it would swim to the center of the river, and the rescue twice was fruitless. The Gaocheng District Natural Resources and Planning Bureau and the Gaocheng District Police have also sent people to the scene for many times.

Today (January 9), the latest news came that on the afternoon of the 8th, Li Ming, a police officer from the Lianzhou Police Station of the Gaocheng Branch, and his colleagues finally caught the black swan by the Hutuo River and sent it to the wildlife rescue station for treatment in time.

The black swan was safely escorted by police officers to the Shijiazhuang Taihang Wildlife Rescue Station.

According to the head of Shijiazhuang Taihang Wildlife Rescue Station, the rescue station has inspected the rescued black swans and found that the eyes of the black swans are old injuries that cannot be cured, and there are no problems in other aspects. However, due to the fact that one eye of the black swan has been blind and cannot forage normally in the wild, it was decided to arrange the black swan in the rescue station.

The ambulance station prepared a separate cage in advance to house the black swans, and the cages prepared nutritious meals for the black swans.

The staff at the ambulance station fed the black swan, and the veterinarian began to treat the black swan's eyes.
