After 13 hours and 23 minutes, Li Zongli and his team recently braved the extremely cold and low temperature of more than minus 30 degrees Celsius, as well as the influence of severe weather such as dense fog and snowstorms, and completed the ultra-difficult challenge from the base camp of Siguniang Mountain to the summit of Sanfeng in a difficult "cross-cutting" method.
During the above time, he successively climbed to the summit of Siguniang Mountain (5,025 meters above sea level), Erfeng (5,276 meters above sea level), and Sanfeng (5,355 meters above sea level).

For most climbers, it is very difficult to challenge high altitudes in winter, let alone multi-peak, solo climbs.
To this end, Li Zongli and his team carried out targeted training and careful deployment. "In order to save time for the challenge, I had to abandon the traditional climbing route and cut across the ridge between the snow-capped mountains. The narrowest part of the ridge is only one meter, and it is mostly frozen schist. In addition, with strong winds above level 6, you may slide off the cliff if you are not careful. This kind of difficulty is rare in my previous climbing experience. This route is the first of its kind in China and even internationally, and it is groundbreaking. ”
In addition to being extremely skilled and experienced, "cross-cutting" traversing is also affected by local climatic and geographical conditions. In particular, according to the latest weather forecast, the minimum temperature between the main peaks of Siguniang Mountain exceeded minus 30 degrees Celsius that month, and there were strong winds in the mountains, which brought great trouble to the descent and cross-cutting. According to the original plan, he will complete this challenge alone.

As soon as you feel that everything is normal, you will immediately carry a rope on your back and descend vertically from the summit to the ridge between the main peak and the second peak, so that you can "cross-cut" to the second peak. By this time, the weather was already slightly brighter, but the weather was getting worse and worse.
"The descent from the summit of the Great Peak was planned to be five sections, but due to the sudden blizzard, seven sections were lowered, the first section was lowered by 60 meters, the second section was reduced by 60 meters, and the third section was descended by 40 meters, and the cliff walls of two sections reached nearly 90 degrees perpendicular to the ground, so it can be said that there was no place to stand......" Li Zongli recalled, and the snow on the ridge between the main peak and the second peak was waist-deep, which brought great difficulties to the operation.
At 11:25, he officially arrived at the summit of the second peak.
However, during the descent from the top of the second peak, Li Zongli encountered dense fog and heavy snow, and the communication equipment has completely failed, but the Huawei WATCH Ultimate can still work normally. At 18:06, after several degrees of extreme danger, Li Zongli finally arrived at the summit of the three peaks of Siguniang Mountain at an altitude of 5,355 meters. At this moment, 13 hours and 23 minutes have passed since the departure from the Omine base camp.
