The Alpine Skiing Far East Cup Yanqing Station is an international event hosted by the International Ski Federation and hosted by the Chinese Ski Association, and is the second level of the international continental event after the World Cup. There are five races in the Alpine Skiing Far East Cup this season, held in China, South Korea and Japan, and the Yanqing leg is the second and only sprint event in this season's Alpine Skiing Far East Cup. This event is also the first international alpine skiing event held by the National Alpine Skiing Center after the Beijing Winter Olympics. Seventy-seven athletes from China and Japan competed.

The FIS Alpine Skiing Far East Cup Yanqing was held at the National Alpine Skiing Center "Xue Feiyan" from 5 to 11 January, with official training from 5 to 6 January, a downhill competition from 7 to 8 January and a super-G competition from 10 to 11 January. In order to do a good job in medical security, Yanqing District has set up a venue medical security team composed of 23 people, including 1 venue medical officer, 4 municipal support ski doctors, and 6 Yanqing ski doctors, and set up 2 fixed medical stations, 4 FOP medical stations, and 3 ambulance groups. At the same time, a 58-person designated medical treatment team was also set up, an independent medical treatment area for athletes was set up in Yanqing, a special transport route was set up, a green treatment channel was opened, and the medical team of the venue, the ambulance team and the designated hospital were efficiently linked, so as to ensure the safety of the event.
In Yanqing, five international and domestic high-end ice and snow events, including the Yanqing Station of the Bobsleigh and Skeleton World Cup, the Alpine Skiing Far East Cup, and the National 14th Winter Alpine Skiing Competition, have been held one after another, and the Olympic legacy has become an asset that benefits the society in the long run. On the basis of holding international and domestic high-level ice and snow events, Yanqing District also held the 38th Ice and Snow Happy Season, integrating the region's cultural, tourism, sports, business and agricultural resources, and launching professional competitions, ice and snow parks, lantern-themed activities and route products. At the same time, Yanqing Olympic Park, Shijinglong Ski Resort, Badaling Ski Resort and other ice and snow sports venues are also open to meet the needs of all kinds of ski enthusiasts. A series of ice and snow cultural tourism products such as the Ice and Snow Carnival in Shiyuan Park and the 2nd Lantern Art Festival in Shiyuan Park will also bring a different ice and snow experience to the general public and tourists.
