Not long ago, Huawei released its first ear clip headphones, Huawei FreeClip, which has gained a good attention in the market. According to foreign media reports, as a world-renowned audio equipment manufacturer, Bose also plans to bring new ear clip headphones at the upcoming CES 2024.
Bose has introduced open-back sports headphones, which do not block the ear canal, but are attached to the ear by an ear hook, allowing users to listen to music while hearing the surrounding sound. However, this headset was discontinued in October 2022. And after a hiatus of more than a year, Bose is poised to relaunch its open-back headset lineup, with its latest product being the open-back TWS ear clip earbuds, which are expected to debut at CES in Las Vegas in January. The relevant headphone information exposed by foreign media revealed its design features.
As you can see from the picture, Bose's open-ear clip-on headphones feature a carefully crafted G-shaped design that ensures a snug fit in the ear without blocking the ear canal. This design feature allows users to enjoy high-quality music while maintaining their awareness of their surroundings.
This TWS earbud is printed with Bose's brand logo and "R" and "L" markings on the inside of the device to distinguish the left and right ears. Its exterior is painted with a smooth silver coating, adding a touch of elegance. In addition, the speaker is positioned above the device, in line with the direction of the ear canal. Bose's ear-clip headphones look somewhat similar to Huawei's Freeclip ear-clip headphones, but at the moment, the official name of Bose's open-back headphones has not been announced.
