However, as early as November last year, Tesla FSD was also considered to have entered the "countdown" stage as the four ministries and commissions jointly issued a notice to deploy the pilot work of intelligent networked vehicles to enter and pass on the road. On November 25 last year, according to the Not A Tesla App, FSD V12 has started internal deployment, with the updated version number 2023.38.10, and Musk also confirmed the news on X.

According to Musk's previous teaser, a major change in Tesla's FSD V12 is the elimination of more than 300,000 lines of code that previously controlled the vehicle's FSD functions, further relying on neural networks, meaning that the system reduces its reliance on hardcoded programming.

For the first time, FSD V12 uses neural networks to control steering, acceleration, and braking, but only to detect objects and determine properties.
