The temperature in Ulaanbaatar is higher than that of the Arctic, with an average daily temperature of around minus 35 degrees Celsius. Under such conditions, the embassy stationed in Ulaanbaatar faced a problem - the embassy's hot water pipes were frozen by cold air.
At that time, all the hot water supply of the embassy relied on hot water pipes for transportation. But this freeze, the hot water of the entire embassy was cut off. In that kind of extremely cold weather, hot water is the most important means of heating the embassy, and how can it be good?
A series of questions made Sun Yixian feel very uncomfortable.
Strict help
Just when the embassy was in a hurry because it couldn't find a maintenance worker to come to the door to maintain the hot water pipe, Mongolian residents took the initiative to find people in the embassy.
He told the people at the embassy to try it with a blowtorch. At first, I was a little at a loss in the face of this sudden enthusiasm. Unexpectedly, he was very relaxed, without the slightest sense of rustiness.
Bringing a blowtorch from home, he helped the embassy bake ice from the hot water pipes while telling the embassy people about their experience of how the locals survived the winter.
Sun Yixian was observing Yan Yan's every move at that time, and he felt that the Mongolian people did not seem to have a rejection of the Chinese.
Afterwards, Sun Yixian had a chat with Yan Yan, and when he mentioned why Yan Yan did his best to help the Chinese, Yan Yan replied heartily to Sun Yixian, saying that he felt that the people of the two countries were friends and friends who had been together for hundreds of years, and that if he could help, he would help them.
In this cold winter in Mongolia, Sun Yixian's heart was warmed by the Mongolian people.

Now Mongolia is a friend of China
But Sun Yixian was a Chinese diplomat after all, and the facts he said were also done by the Mongolian people at that time. But the question is, will the Mongolian people have the same attitude towards officials and people?

Are the Mongolian people still as true friends with the mainland, as they were at the beginning?

There was even a rumor in Mongolia that it wanted to learn Xi from the political trend of China's reform and opening up, but it is a pity that because of the obstruction of a third country and the difference in political systems, Mongolia's reform and opening up died before it began.
But as time passed, Mongolia recognized the reality as it watched the widening gap between itself and China. After all, they are not as fast as China's development.
