On January 5, the Anhui Discipline Inspection and Supervision Network reported that Li Yun, former Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the Suzhou Branch of China Construction Bank, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently under the disciplinary review of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Anhui Branch of China Construction Bank and the supervision and investigation of the Xuancheng Supervision Committee.
There is not much information about Li Yun's public activities. Tianyancha information shows that the person in charge of the Suzhou branch of China Construction Bank changed in January 2015, from Li Yun to someone else. Since then, Li Yun has no record of working in CCB branches.
In addition, in August 2014, Suzhou City held the "First Suzhou Art Exhibition". At that time, Li Yun attended the opening ceremony as the president of Suzhou Construction Bank.
The number of "dismissed" cadres of CCB ranks first among the six major banks
According to combing, in 2023, 49 people in the six major state-owned banks will be investigated or "double-opened", and there will be more than 10 people in Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, and China Construction Bank.
Specifically, in January 2023, Li Baoqi, former vice president and senior deputy manager of the South China Training Institute of CCB Training Center, was expelled from the party and public office;
In February 2023, Wang Ye, former Secretary of the Party Committee and President of CCB Shenzhen Branch, was expelled from the Party and public office for serious violations of discipline and law;

In May 2023, Zhang Longquan, the former senior commissioner of CCB Tianjin Branch, was expelled from the party;

Judging from the serious violations of discipline and law involved, the majority of the cadres of the CCB who were dismissed from office accepted gifts and consumption cards that might affect the fair performance of official duties, accepted banquets in violation of regulations, "relied on finance to eat finance," ran businesses in violation of regulations, took advantage of their positions to seek benefits for others, illegally accepted huge sums of money and property from others, and were suspected of taking bribes, thus seriously violating the party's political discipline, honesty discipline, and life discipline, constituting a serious violation of the law and suspected of accepting bribes.
