Writing blessing characters and pasting Spring Festival couplets are traditional Xi of the Chinese nation. On January 5th, Southwest University held the "Chenlong New Year" activity, and famous calligraphers and painters, master's and doctoral students waved their pens on the spot to send everyone the blessings of the Year of the Dragon.
Dragon, Dragon, Dragon...... A variety of "dragon" characters on the scene attracted many students to stop and discuss. "There are six dragons in total, I guess it's the meaning of six or six great shuns!" "I've seen it on the Spring Festival Gala promotional video, pronounce dá!"
In fact, the two words "龖, 龘" are pronounced dá, and the meaning is the same, describing the appearance of the dragon taking off.
It is understood that this is the fourth year that the Academy of Fine Arts of Southwest University has written Spring Festival couplets for everyone and presented blessing characters. In the past four years, the activities have radiated nearly 10,000 teachers and students. This year, more than 2,000 blessings were sent by famous calligraphers and calligraphy students.
"We send the blessings of our calligraphers to everyone in the form of traditional Chinese couplets and blessing characters, and we also hope that our traditional Chinese culture can be more loved by people. Cao Jian, a professor at Southwest University, said.
