The Rockets lost 95-122 at home to the Western Conference boss Timberwolves today, and the performance analysis of the Rockets players is as follows.
T0 (perfect): Green
Green: Played 31 minutes, shooting 7-of-16, 4-of-8 from three-point range and 2-of-4 from the free-throw line, finishing with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Others didn't perform as well as him, and I think the performance was perfect!
T1 (with shortcomings): Shin Jing, Smith, Jeff, Holiday
Shen Jing: The Rockets center had a decent performance in this game, he played 33 minutes, shooting 8-of-17, 0-of-1 three-pointer, and 3-of-3 free throws to score 19 points, 5 rebounds and 1 assist, with a plus/minus of -16. But the defense still can't get tough!
Smith: Played 32 minutes and finished with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists on 6-of-13 shooting from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range, with four turnovers being the only problem.
Jeff: Played 21 minutes from the field, shooting 2-of-4 from the field, 0-of-2 from three-point range, and had four points and one rebound.
Holiday played 19 minutes, shooting 2-of-3 from the field and 1-of-1 from three-point range to finish with five points, two rebounds and two assists.
T2 (bad): Tate, Van Vliet, Whey Moore, Thompson
Tate: Played 21 minutes, didn't score, only had 3 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal.
VanVleet: Played 31 minutes and finished with 7 points, 1 rebound, 8 assists, 1 steal and 1 block on 2-of-9 shooting. Inefficient and poor performance.
Concession Moore: Played 15 minutes, shot 4-of-10, 1-of-4 three-pointers, cut 11 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, and 4 turnovers.
Thompson: Played 20 minutes, shooting 2-of-9 from the field and 0-of-2 from three-point range, scoring 6 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 2 turnovers. Even though he was a rookie, his performance was still terrible!
If the Rockets want to make the playoffs, they need to work harder.
