Just returned from Saudi Arabia and to tell the truth is not quite what you think

Title: "A trip to Saudi Arabia: the difference between what you really see and what you don't expect"

As part of my unique trip, I recently concluded a visit to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is a country rich in history and culture, however, the experience of this trip was very different from what I expected. Perhaps this difference opened a window into my deeper understanding of the country.

When I set foot on Saudi soil, the first thing that catches my eye is its unique architecture and magnificent scenery. I was struck by historical cultural sites, such as the mosques in Mecca and Medina. But at the same time, I also began to feel something different about this country.

Through interacting with the locals, I gradually came to appreciate the diversity of cultures. Contrary to what I had imagined in the past, the Saudi people have shown a warm, hospitable and friendly side. They are willing to share their culture and values and take me through their daily lives and traditional Xi. These exchanges have taught me that cultural diversity does not mean estrangement, but should be seen as part of the enrichment of human civilization.

However, it is also undeniable that the country is different in some ways than I expected. In some social norms and codes of conduct, I felt the difference from the cultural background I was familiar with. But this is not the criterion by which a culture is judged. On the contrary, this difference makes me reflect on and respect the differences between different cultures. Every culture is unique, and understanding and accommodating these differences can foster harmony and cooperation between different countries.

I also experienced many wonderful moments during this journey. I visited an oasis in the desert and experienced the local traditions and cuisine, which were unforgettable experiences. More importantly, I met many friendly, sincere people whose stories and experiences gave me a deeper understanding of the country.

This tour is not a single observation of a particular country, but an experience of the diversity of the world. It taught me to respect and understand the differences between different cultures, rather than simply judging or critiquing. Every country is unique in its own way, and it is these differences that give the world a rich and colorful face.

After returning home, I cherished this exchange with Saudi Arabia even more. This experience has made me more open-minded and able to appreciate and embrace the beauty of different cultures. I hope that this experience will continue to influence me and allow me to continue to keep an open mind to explore more unknown cultures and make the world a more harmonious and beautiful place in the future.

This trip was a valuable experience in my life, not only as an exploration of Saudi Arabia, but also as an education about the cultural diversity of humanity. Through this experience, I am even more convinced that it is only through understanding, respect and tolerance that we can achieve true peace and co-prosperity.
