In the Atlantic Ocean southwest of Canada, there is an island called Sable Island, which is only about 80 square kilometers, and it is not a common round island, but a narrow island like a crescent, about 40 kilometers long from east to west. The environment on the island is extremely harsh, there are no tall trees, only small grass and some low shrubs on the beach, but there are more than 400 wild horses living on such a small island.
Sable Island is a magical island that was long ago called the "Atlantic Cemetery" and "Isle of Death" by local fishermen. Over the past 100 years, more than 500 ships of all sizes have sunk here, and even the fishing boats that regularly sail around it do not dare to get too close to it, because the island moves on its own.
The island started out as a sandbar 120 kilometers long and 16 kilometers wide, but the island has been moving eastward at a rate of 100 meters per year, and in the last 200 years, it has moved 20 kilometers eastward. As a result, the island grew smaller and smaller, eventually becoming a small island 40 kilometers long and 20 kilometers wide, and the rest of the island was submerged by the sea in constant movement.
The environment on the island is so harsh that there should not be large animals to survive, but because there are often shipwrecks here, many animals on board have landed on the island, and the ones that survive are the horses. At first, there were only a few horses, but as the herd multiplied and the occasional shipwreck followed, the herd grew to 400 horses, and their diet was the few weeds and shrubs on the island.
