However, not only the carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes of this company exceeded the standard, but also the denim vest produced by a company called Dongguan Manbang E-commerce Co., Ltd. was also detected to exceed the standard, with a measured value of 30mg/kg.
It is understood that among all the samples tested by the Administration, more than eighty percent of the products are qualified, but there are still 58 batches of unqualified goods, accounting for 19.2%, and the unqualified items are mainly fiber content, pH value and decomposable carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes.
Among them, carcinogenic aromatic amine dyes are undoubtedly the most harmful to the human body, so how harmful is it to the human body?
Hazards of benzidine
Benzidine is an organic compound, in the natural state of white crystalline powder, can be used in medical, chemical reagents, etc., and the most widely used in dyeing and printing clothes, with which it can synthesize more than 300 kinds of dyes, and has the characteristics of good color quality and fast dyeing.
But on the contrary, it has a strong toxicity, it is understood that if benzidine is in contact with the human skin for a long time, its solids and vapors can easily invade the human skin, causing contact dermatitis, and even decompose to produce more than 20 kinds of carcinogenic aromatic amines, and even change the DNA structure after activation, causing bladder cancer and renal pelvic cancer.
