Xpeng X9 was officially launched: 359,800 yuan for sale and simultaneous delivery
Yesterday evening, Xpeng's first pure electric MPV model, Xpeng X9, was officially launched and delivered at the same time. The new car is built on the Fuyao architecture, equipped with a series of technologies such as 800V and XNGP for all directions, and comes with rear-wheel steering as standard. The new model will be available in four models, with prices ranging from CNY 359,800 to CNY 419,800.
As an MPV model, the new car has a length, width and height of 5293/1988/1785mm and a wheelbase of 3160mm, which is very large in size. The exterior uses the starship design language, giving it a very recognizable shape.
Different from the current pure electric models, in order to achieve higher battery life, the rounded and streamlined shape adopted by Xpeng X9 as a whole adopts extremely angular body lines, showing a different kind of beauty. Despite this, the body still adopts a large number of low-drag designs, and the drag coefficient of the whole vehicle is as low as 0.227Cd, which is a good performance. The new car is available in four colors: Crescent Silver, Midnight Black, Nebula White, and Starlight Gold.
What attracts more attention than the exterior of the new car is its interior design. The new car is positioned as a large seven-seat MPV, but Xpeng said that most families will not sit full of 7 seats when using the car, so the X9 adopts a unique design and can become a large four-seat SUV in seconds. And instead of simply reclining it, it hides under the floor with one key, thus providing a large trunk space of 1846L for the rear row and improving daily practicality.
In terms of configuration, the second and third rows are equipped with electric adjustment, cup holders, charging and other functions. And the new car also debuted a wrap-around quiet soft wind central air conditioner, and the 3.6m air outlet also integrates hidden atmosphere lights, speakers, sunshades and other functions, and avoids direct wind blowing, which is more friendly to the elderly and children. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a 21.4-inch home entertainment ecological screen, a Rubik's Cube intelligent control refrigerator and other configurations, which improves the car experience.
In the intelligent part, the new car is equipped with 29 intelligent driving sensors, including forward-facing dual lidar, camera, millimeter-wave radar, and ultrasonic radar, and is equipped with dual Orin-X chips, providing up to 508TOPS computing power.
In terms of driving and handling, in response to the large problems of MPV models, Xpeng X9 is equipped with a rear-wheel steering function as standard, with a maximum steering angle of 5° and a turning radius of 5.4m, which is #1还要小 than compact cars, and can easily cope with various urban roads and narrow parking spaces. The new model is available with 84.5 kWh and 101.5 kWh battery configurations, providing a range of 610 km, 640 km and 720 km in CLTC mode, respectively. The new car is equipped with an 800V high-voltage platform as standard, which can replenish energy for 300km in 10 minutes.
