68 people were examined and investigated:
Li Pengxin, former deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, was subject to disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission;
Chen Yuxiang, deputy secretary of the Hebei Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and deputy director of the Provincial Supervision Commission, accepted the disciplinary review and supervision investigation of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission;
Wang Yixin, member of the Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee and vice governor, was subject to disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission.
In addition, Xu Zongxiang, former secretary of the party committee of Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education; Liu Kewen, member of the party group and vice chairman of the CPPCC of Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region; Xu Qingfeng, member of the party group and deputy director of the Guangdong Provincial Health Commission; Liu Runsheng, former deputy secretary of the party committee of Anyang Iron and Steel Group; and so on.
79 people received party discipline and government sanctions:
Dong Yunhu, former secretary and director of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, was expelled from the party and public office for serious violations of discipline and law;
Qu Min, former member and vice chairman of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was expelled from the party and public office for serious violations of discipline and law;
Li Jinzhu, former member of the party group and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial People's Congress, was expelled from the party for serious violations of discipline and law.
In addition, Liu Hongbao, former secretary of the leading party group of the Sichuan Provincial Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives; Sun Zhanhe, former member of the leading party group and deputy director of the Liaoning Provincial Department of Water Resources; Long Xiaohua, former deputy secretary of the Xiangxi Prefecture Party Committee of Hunan Province; Yuan Yanwen, former secretary of the leading party group and director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Zhang Peng, former director of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, and so on.
