It is rare to win the top 8 at every turn, which is still rare in the competition hosted (undertaken) by the Chinese Chess Academy. In the 14 Chunlan Cups so far, Chinese chess players have never won the top 8. The highest proportion in the top 8 was the 7th, when 7 Chinese players entered the top 8, and Chang Hao defeated South Korean chess player Lee Chang-ho in the final.
The Bailing Cup has completed 4 sessions, and Chinese chess players have never won the top 8, but in the first session, 7 people also reached the top 8, and after Zhou Ruiyang defeated Park Tinghuan, Chinese chess players won the top 4.
