The first rays of the new year's sun pierced through the clouds and swept across the land of the motherland. On January 1, 2024, the channels of Heilongjiang, Xiamen, Shandong, Inner Mongolia, Henan, Hubei, Yunnan, Shaanxi, Qinghai, and Xinjiang jointly reported on the CCTV to welcome the first ray of sunshine in 2024 and record the wonderful moments of sunrise with the camera.

The first rays of sunshine in 2024 will rise from the snow-capped East Pole Fuyuan, all the way to the west, sweeping the Shengli Oilfield where Canglong enters the sea, caressing the bridge flying over the Yellow River, lighting up Qiongtai on the top of Wudang Mountain, dyeing gold for the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, giving warmth to the Loess Plateau, dancing with the swans on the shore of Qinghai Lake, and finally blending into the curling smoke of the ancient city of Kashgar.
Bidding farewell to the year 2023, which continues to struggle and forge ahead, the sunrise of the new year brings the beautiful scenery after the baptism of wind and rain, which is a brilliant hope and our full confidence in the future.
