Kim Jong-un also ordered at least four departments to prepare for war, "proposing that the People's Army, the military industry, the nuclear weapons department, and the civil defense department should further accelerate the completion of combat preparations for war." ”
In short, it was Kim Jong-un who ordered to speed up military preparations against the United States. In terms of the current situation on the Korean Peninsula, it is not surprising that the DPRK has made such a decision, and the situation on the Korean Peninsula is already very serious under the continuous provocations of the United States, Japan, South Korea and other countries. In order to ensure its national security, North Korea has repeatedly shown its nuclear weapons, and even written its nuclear strategy into its own constitution, and also launched satellites to express its determination to never give in even if there is a war, but the United States, Japan and South Korea still refuse to make concessions and insist on forcing North Korea to submit.
In this situation, North Korea has completely abandoned illusions in the United States, Japan, and South Korea, knowing that verbal warnings alone will not work, so it has actively mobilized its most important strategic resources, including its own conventional and strategic combat forces, as well as its escalating cooperative relations with Russia. This attitude is already obvious: if you want to fight, then come on!
But the irony is that when North Korea put on a posture of "fighting if it wants to", the United States, which had previously been a "tough guy" posture, retreated and sought unconditional dialogue.
On the 28th, a spokesman for the US State Department said that the United States has "no hostile intentions" toward the DPRK and seeks to hold talks with Pyongyang without preconditions.
Isn't this ironic? In the past, it was the United States and the West that wanted to force the DPRK to submit, and it was the United States and the West that refused to make a concession, but now that the DPRK is ready to confront, it is the United States and the West that seek unconditional dialogue. I have to say that the speed at which the United States is changing its face is faster than we are turning the pages of books!
Of course, we are not surprised that the United States has instigated this. As a matter of fact, there are three points that the United States is particularly afraid of in this regard. What are the three points? First, North Korea's nuclear weapons. In terms of conventional combat forces alone, North Korea may be able to deal with South Korea, but it is obviously unrealistic to say that it is against the United States. However, the DPRK's nuclear weapons stockpile is enough to make the United States afraid, and those who are interested may wish to learn about the DPRK's exposition on its nuclear strategy since the beginning of this year, which basically is not aimed at the enemy of South Korea, but the United States.
Because the DPRK knows very well that the fundamental cause of the escalation of the situation on the peninsula does not lie with South Korea, but with the United States behind South Korea, it has made up its mind to target the United States with nuclear weapons.
Second, cooperation with Russia. The current situation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict has become more and more biased towards Russia, and the cooperation between North Korea and Russia means that Russia is fully capable of exerting influence in the two major battlefields of Asia-Pacific and Eastern Europe, which overwhelms the United States.
Third, the relationship between North Korea and China has forced the United States to take into account China's attitude when targeting North Korea.
Based on the above three reasons, the United States really does not dare to tear its face with the DPRK. What's more, there are still two major conflicts between Russia and Ukraine and Palestinian-Israeli sides that are plaguing the United States, and it is difficult to project a large amount of strategic resources to the Asia-Pacific region. Facts have proved that the constant pressure on the DPRK by the US side before this is nothing more than a bluff, and it will not dare to fight the DPRK if it really wants to fight!
However, as soon as the United States instigated it, South Korea was in an embarrassing position, and South Korea had been constantly pressuring the DPRK only by relying on the support of the United States, but now that the wind has changed, how should South Korea deal with itself next? This is probably a big problem for South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol!
