Category 1: Exceeding the standard electric vehicles

Recently, a number of cities in Zhejiang Province have also made it clear that non-standard electric bicycles that have been recorded, vehicles that have been filed for 7 years, from January 1, 2024, will not be allowed to drive on the road, if they are on the road in violation of regulations, the first time they are found to be unwilling to scrap on the spot, they will be ordered to rectify, and they will be seized again, and if they are not willing to scrap on the spot, they can be fined up to 500 yuan, and if they are not willing to scrap on the spot for the third time, they will directly detain the electric vehicle.
Category 2: Unlicensed, unlicensed electric vehicles
At present, electric vehicles implement real-name management, that is to say, electric vehicles must be registered, and then the number plate for electric vehicles, so that they can be on the road, in addition to if riding a motor vehicle, the owner also needs to hold the corresponding driver's license, unlicensed or unlicensed electric vehicles are not allowed on the road.
Recently, Yuqing, Guizhou Province issued a notice on the self-disposal of unlicensed, unlicensed two- and three-wheeled (electric) motorcycles that exceed the standard electric bicycles.
In the notice, it is clear that from January 1, 2024, vehicle owners will actively dispose of their unlicensed, unlicensed and two- and three-wheeled (electric) motorcycles with public security prevention and control record signs that exceed the standard electric bicycles, which means that such vehicles will not be allowed to drive on the road.
Unlicensed electric vehicles on the road by the traffic police will generally receive oral education, ordered to license within a time limit, driving electric vehicles without a license, the traffic police will be punished in accordance with the motor vehicle standards, will be fined 2000 yuan, and can even be administratively detained for 15 days.
3. Illegal three- and four-wheeled electric vehicles
In addition to two-wheeled electric vehicles, from January 1, 2024, the transition period of illegal three- and four-wheeled electric vehicles in many provinces and cities will also end.
