Lakers reporter Buha discussed the Lakers' recent trade in a personal podcast.
Buha said the Lakers refused to trade Reaves for Hawks guard Dejounte Murray, and the Lakers deemed Reaves a non-sale for the team unless they had the opportunity to get an All-Star.
Frankly speaking, only James and Davis are not for sale on the team, and if Reaves is reluctant, I am afraid that the Lakers will not be able to exchange for big stars in the trade market.
Although Murray is not valued by the Hawks now, and it is likely to be traded, the chips that the Lakers can give are Russell, Hachimura, Christie, and Schifino, plus a first-round pick and several swap rights, compared to the chips of the Philadelphia 76ers, the Lakers seem to be at a disadvantage.
