Violent clashes broke out in the north bridge,
A man was stabbed several times!
Early this morning, when many people were asleep, there was a violent clash in the North Bridge, and a man was stabbed multiple times.
A 22-year-old victim suffered serious injuries to his leg and arm and was rushed to the hospital where he is expected to undergo surgery.
The incident occurred just before 3.30am on the corner of Lake and James Streets, in front of An Sabin's Irish Pub, and the group is understood to know each other.
Police arrived at the scene within seconds of the incident and pursued the suspect.
Three men in their 20s were arrested in the neighborhood on Saturday morning and remain in custody.
As part of the investigation, police seized several knives.
Investigations into the other persons involved in the incident and the causes of the conflict, as well as whether the conflict was distributed in different locations, are ongoing.
In November, The west obtained data showing that health care workers were called in to deal with knife attacks every day in WA last year.
In 2022, healthcare workers saw 399 cases classified as "stab wounds," compared to 374 in the previous year and 371 in 2020.
WA Police Commander Dario Bolzonella said police were determined to keep Perth's entertainment venues safe.
"Any violence in public places, especially involving weapons, is unacceptable and will not be tolerated by the police," he said. ”
"If you go into the entertainment area and you want to fight, or you want to carry a weapon, or you want to participate in a serious attack, you wait to be arrested by the police, you are waiting to face the law. ”
Since the introduction of the Protected Entertainment Zones Act a year ago, dozens of violent and anti-social offenders have been barred from entering five popular entertainment precincts in Perth-Northbridge, Fremantle, Scarborough, Hillarys and Mandurah.
There are at least 62 short-term orders prohibiting violators from entering the jurisdiction for six months. In addition, 20 troublemakers have been banned from alcohol for five years by the Liquor Licensing Department.
Of the 62 short-term restraining orders, 56 were related to Perth-Northbridge breaches, two in Mandurah, two in Hillarys and two in Fremantle.
The 22-year-old victim in Saturday's northbridge stabbing was in stable condition Saturday morning.
Anyone with any information about the incident was asked to call 1800 333 000 or report the information online at crimestopperswa.com.au.

Perth elderly man attacked by Asian man
In addition to possible suspects in the Northbridge attack, police are continuing to pursue a mob who attacked an 84-year-old man who tried to buy a lottery ticket from a local store.
On Aug. 30, Irwin Dodd was cheekily punched in the chin by a man outside the local Bassendean supermarket, covered in blood and bruised.
Police said he had "cuts and bruises" in his mouth after the attack, and police appealed for the public's help in locating a man who was caught on CCTV.
Dodd was on his way to buy a lotto ticket — something he often does — when he suddenly noticed that at 10 a.m., two men were "boxing" on the corner of Carman Way and Ida Street, next to a white car.
Dodd said that just before he was attacked, one of the men approached him and said, "Hey, old man."
"I started to turn my head, and then, with a bang, he punched me. ”
"But I couldn't do anything because my bottom dentures popped out – I couldn't close my mouth properly. ”
Then he walked into the store and paid for it, getting his lotto ticket.
Dodd feels "very lucky" to be alive to tell this story, and he said he feels the attack didn't get any worse when he recalls the victim of the one-punch attack, Danny Hodgson.
"I thought I would get the same treatment. ”
"You can't trust people right now...... I'm just keeping an eye on the people around me," he said.
Dodd said the lotto ticket "didn't do him any good" because he didn't win the jackpot and was attacked, and he will make his first appointment next month to get his dentures fixed.
WA Police Officer Mason Ball said he wanted the public to help identify the man caught in the surveillance footage.
"Dodd is a vulnerable member of society and he doesn't deserve to be treated like anyone else. ”
According to the police, the man in the video is an Asian man in his 30s, with a dark complexion, medium build, about 175 centimeters tall, and a distinctive tattoo on his neck.

More than 20 people were injured in a terrorist car accident in Australia
The New Year is just around the corner, and many people are immersed in the joy of the holiday season and are enjoying the joy of going out on a trip with their families.
However, it's also a time for accidents, with two men in their 40s killed on the spot and more than 20 others, including young children, in a horrific five-vehicle collision in the Central Highlands of NSW yesterday.
On Friday, an eastbound Isuzu D-max towing a motorcycle trailer collided with a westbound Toyota HiLux on the Great Western Highway, about 15 kilometers north of Lithgow, causing chaos, police said.
Isuzu then collided head-on with a Kia Carnival with seven passengers and a five-year-old child on board, while Toyota crashed into a Hyundai Tuscan, causing the car to drive off the road and trap its occupants.
A Nissan Patrol with four people on board was towing a caravan east, just behind Isuzu, when it crashed into a motorcycle trailer attached to it.
After receiving the report at about 12:50 p.m., emergency services arrived at the scene, but they were unable to save the driver Isuzu (42) and the driver Kia (49), who were trapped in the car and died on the spot.
Six passengers in Kia's car, including five children between the ages of 5 and 15 and a 41-year-old woman, were injured to varying degrees.
After being treated by paramedics, they were taken to the hospital, where one of the children is still in critical condition but in stable condition.
The other four children are in stable condition and the woman has been discharged.
A 55-year-old man driving the Hyundai car suffered multiple fractures and was immediately taken to the hospital, along with two passengers in the car, but are currently in stable condition.
Eventually, five cars were involved in this horrific crash, which left more than 20 people injured.
Professional police officers from the accident investigation team are inspecting the scene and continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the accident.
NSW Police Paul Glinn said one of the vehicles may have turned to oncoming traffic on Saturday, and police confirmed the incident on Saturday.
"It looks like a car went the wrong way, but as for the actual situation, what caused the incident, there was a collision and what happened after that, it will be determined in the coming days. ”
The accident is also a warning to drivers to slow down, because there are so many people on vacation, and everyone must drive carefully for their own safety and the safety of others!
