On December 30, Quanhe Avenue (G105 to Putuoshan Road) in Wenshang County was officially opened to traffic.
The Quanhe Avenue project is a key transportation project determined and implemented by the Wenshang County Party Committee and the county government, and it is also a popular project that the masses are highly concerned about. The total investment of the Quanhe Avenue project is about 500 million yuan, with a total length of 8.8 kilometers, a first-class highway standard, a design speed of 80 km/h, and two-way four lanes. After the completion of the project, it will become the main traffic artery in the southern part of Wenshang County, effectively reduce the traffic pressure of the South Second Ring Road, realize the rapid connection of S246, G105 and S244, and effectively promote the high-quality economic development of Wenshang County.
The construction of the Quanhe Avenue project has been carried out in sections since 2022, and the 5.3-kilometer western section of Quanhe Avenue was opened to traffic at the end of 2022, and the construction of the eastern extension of Quanhe Avenue was launched in April 2023.
It is understood that the Quanhe Avenue project is expected to be opened to traffic by the end of June 2024.
