Daliuta Youth Palace is located on the west bank of the Wulan Mulun River, at the intersection of Xingmin Road and Racing Network Red Road on the bank of Lijiaban. The overall shape is designed by Tang Jiajun, a teacher from Harbin Institute of Technology, in the shape of the flower of the prosperous era, highlighting the vigorous vitality of teenagers and showing the vitality of the Daliu Tower. The total investment of the project is 250 million yuan, and the government special bonds of 100 million yuan have been successfully used, covering an area of 40,000 square meters and a total construction area of 31,000 square meters. The main building has one basement floor and two floors above ground. The basement floor has a total area of 12,600 square meters, and the main function is an underground parking lot, with a total of 175 parking spaces.
The swimming pool has a total area of 986 square meters, complete facilities and advanced disinfection and purification systems, which can meet the needs of national fitness, mass sports and water fitness and entertainment. The ground floor has a total area of 9,942 square meters, and the main functional departments have an immersive experience center, which uses digital technology to allow students to immerse themselves in coal mining, space travel, the underwater world, history and humanities and other scenes. Maker education and other places for learning and Xi practice, and at the same time have the conditions for holding artificial intelligence-related competitions and science and technology salons and other scientific and technological activities; a large theater with a capacity of 508 people to meet the needs of holding large-scale youth performance activities; an indoor basketball hall with a total area of 1,420 square meters can provide a wide sports field for youth sports; characteristic Chinese medicine and Mongolian medicine classrooms promote Chinese and Mongolian medicine culture to primary and secondary school students and promote the development of Chinese and Mongolian medicine culture.
Lego, model airplanes, food, pottery, carpentry and other comprehensive practice classrooms are well-equipped and can offer a variety of practical courses. The second floor on the ground has a total of 6,328 square meters, mainly including professional interest training classrooms such as eloquence, dance, art, calligraphy, martial arts, piano, drums, guzheng, and horse-head qin. The annex building has 3 floors with a total area of 2,364 square meters, the first floor is a restaurant, and the second and third floors are dormitories, which can meet the needs of 200 students for research and catering.
On September 20, 2022, Shenmu Daliuta Youth Palace and Ordos Kangbashi Youth Development Center officially signed a trusteeship and operation agreement to jointly build a cross-regional extracurricular education complex and strive to improve the scientific and humanistic literacy of students in Dawu. Jointly develop a "three-in-one" operation and management model suitable for the local area, carry out three major education forms of comprehensive practice, interest cultivation and research travel, and make every effort to build a high-quality off-campus education brand. The completion of the Daliuta Youth Palace has not only greatly improved the public cultural service system in Dawu, but also met the quality education needs of 24,000 primary and secondary school students in Dawu, greatly improved the level of high-quality and balanced development of regional education, and laid a solid foundation for accelerating the construction of a regional education community.
In the next step, Shenmu Daliuta Youth Palace will further learn from Xi and learn from the advanced experience of other youth palaces across the country, realize complementary advantages, resource sharing, mutual promotion and mutual progress, and strive to build Daliuta Youth Palace into an off-campus education complex with "first-class management mode, first-class teachers, first-class education quality, outstanding school-running characteristics and regional influence".
