Guangxi's ecological advantages are not exchanged, the beautiful mountains and rivers and ecological beauty are the golden signboards of Guangxi, and it is our historical responsibility to protect the mountains and rivers of Guangxi.
Nonggang National Nature Reserve is located in Longzhou and Ningming counties of Guangxi, and is one of the areas with the best preservation and largest area of tropical primeval forests in mainland China and even in the world.
In 2008, Guangxi ornithologist Professor Zhou Fang and his student Dr. Jiang Aiwu discovered and named a new bird species, "Nonggang Spike Thrush", in the Nonggang National Nature Reserve in Longzhou County. The eye-catching creatures made Longzhou famous. There are also more "bird guides" and homestays in the village, and the villagers have tasted the sweetness of ecological protection. Under the overall planning and guidance of the party committees and governments at the county and township levels, the regulations on environmental protection and bird protection have also been added to the village rules and regulations of Nonggang Village, so that ecological advantages can be transformed into economic advantages, and farmers can become tour guides, farmhouses into homestays, homes into gardens, and villages into scenic spots, adding a new format to rural revitalization.
Coral reef is an important marine ecosystem integrating ecological resources, environmental regulation, coastal protection, homeland security, minerals, oil and gas, science and culture, known as the "tropical rainforest in the ocean", more than a quarter of marine life depends on coral reefs for survival, and even the world's 500 million people also depend on coral reef ecosystems for survival.
Ecological restoration of coral reefs, like tree planting, is a feat of human beings feeding back the ocean. Over the years, the scientific research team of the School of Oceanography of Guangxi University, where Huang Wen works, has been deeply engaged in the field of coral reef protection and ecological restoration, serving national strategies and local needs, providing scientific and technological support and think tank support for Guangxi's economic construction, social development and marine ecological civilization construction, and providing Guangxi's strength for the construction of a "maritime power".
The green mountains are like daisies, and the blue waves are vast. In Dahua Yao Autonomous County, Guangxi, the Hongshui River runs through Beijing Town for more than 20 kilometers from north to south, with a water surface area of more than 40,000 acres. In Beijing Town, many villagers have become rich by fishing, raising fish and selling fish, opening restaurants and homestays, and becoming more and more well-off. However, the bottlenecks and drawbacks of water surface development and utilization are also becoming increasingly prominent. To this end, the local party committee and government mobilized the masses to concentrate on building a large-water ecological breeding base, so that the reservoir area can become a green "granary".
The integration of fishing and tourism has broadened the development space of Beijing Town, and also enriched the way for villagers to get rich. The motherly Red Water River has fed generations of fishermen in Beijing. From individual spontaneous cage fish farming to standardized ecological farming on large water surfaces, the fishery in Beijing Town is moving towards a win-win situation of ecological protection and industrial development, creating a high-quality pastoral complex "reservoir area model".
