On December 28, the 19th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 10th Municipal People's Congress was held. Guo Qing, director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Wu Jianhui, Xia Yongbo, Lei Jiwen, Cheng Meihua, deputy directors, Shao Jingliang, secretary general, and members of the Municipal People's Congress attended the meeting. Xu Shuangwen, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, presided over the meeting.
Vice Mayor Mao Jianhua, President of the Municipal Intermediate People's Court Tian Ganlin, Procurator General Zhang Jiang of the Municipal People's Procuratorate, relevant responsible comrades of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Supervision Commission, the Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau, the Municipal Water Conservancy Bureau, the Municipal Agriculture and Food Bureau, and the Standing Committee of the Guixi Municipal People's Congress, county-level cadres of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress and three representatives of the Municipal People's Congress attended the meeting as observers.
The meeting listened to and reviewed the report of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress on the activities of environmental protection Xinjiang in 2023. In recent years, the city's governments at all levels and their relevant departments have carried out special actions to control and reduce total phosphorus pollution in the Xinjiang River as the main line, with the improvement of the quality of the water ecological environment of the Xinjiang River as the core, insisted on pollution reduction and ecological expansion, and promoted the utilization of water resources, water ecological protection and water environment governance, and vigorously promoted the total phosphorus pollution control in the Xinjiang River Basin, and the quality of the water environment has been effectively improved.
The meeting deliberated and voted on the report of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee on the examination of the qualifications of individual deputies, and deliberated and voted on the scope of non-voting attendees at the Fourth Session of the 10 th Municipal People's Congress.
