Nine times out of ten, kitchen appliances are pits.
Buy an electric pot today and an electric kettle tomorrow, and they may both end up idle. But it doesn't matter, anyway, the small kitchen appliance is not valuable, and it will be made up for if you buy one less piece of clothing in the future.
My kitchen was renovated into a big hole, and I prepared for them from the renovation stage. I wanted to buy it home, but I found it difficult to use it - in the end, I could only "offer it up", like a living ancestor.
01. Microwave oven
In order to accommodate the microwave oven, I also reserved a large open space on the wall cabinet. In the end, the microwave oven was put on, but I found that it was no longer as good as I remembered: the heating of the meal was huge and unpalatable, and the rest of the work could not be done.
And the installation location of the microwave oven is also a pit:. If you don't wipe it for a week, the microwave will be covered with sludge.
Obuchi suggests: It is recommended to choose a micro-steaming and baking machine, in addition to the microwave function, which can meet the occasional demand for hot leftovers, it also has the function of a steam oven, which has a smaller chance of limiting. It is recommended to choose a built-in one, which is directly embedded in the cabinet, which saves space and is clean.
.02 Kitchen waste disposer
In order to install the kitchen waste disposer, I also reserved two more sockets in the cabinet. At the same time, the return bend of the drainage pipe was removed (for fear of clogging the pipe), and the water purifier was also bought a small one (saving space).
I was disappointed by the fact that the entrance to the garbage disposal was so small that the larger pieces of garbage could not fit in. And the grinding strength is very limited, occasionally a bone or something will be stuck, and you need to manually disassemble the processor to dredge it.
A plate of leftovers was poured in and had to be ground for 20 minutes, and I just stood by and waited for the faucet to be turned on, and occasionally had to disassemble the machine to dredge it, I really don't know what the picture was.
Obuchi suggests: Users who are not very wealthy are not recommended to buy, it is much more troublesome than imagined. If you want to buy it, it is recommended to budget more than 2,000 yuan and choose products that can automatically reverse and get out of trouble and automatically add water.
.03 Ryomba
If I were to vote for the "most useless kitchen appliance", I would definitely vote for Liangba. I also chose a more convenient embedded aluminum gusset ceiling for it, thinking about my sincerity, it was really wrong.
The essence of Liangba is an electric fan, or the kind with a small air outlet. The heat in the kitchen floated upward, and finally floated to the ceiling, but it was blown down again by the cool bully - the cooling effect can be imagined.
Obuchi suggests: Don't buy a cooler, it's better to buy two floor fans and blow them next to it! If you are really afraid of heat, you can choose a special air conditioner for the kitchen. It's as cool as a regular air conditioner, but it's not afraid of fumes and heat.
.04 Ultrafiltration membrane water purifier
The water purifier can turn tap water into pure water, which I still need very much (because I love coffee and need pure water). But the ordinary water purifier will discharge wastewater, and I am a little distressed about the water fee, so I chose an ultrafiltration membrane water purifier that does not discharge wastewater.
I bought it home and found out that the ultrafiltration membrane water purifier could not be filtered cleanly at all! There would still be scale when the filtered water was heated, and the test with a TDS pen still could not meet the standard of direct drinking. Filtering is the same as not filtering, so why should I spend this money?
TDS less than 50 can be drunk directly
Obuchi suggested: The water purifier should look for the "RO membrane", and the distressed water fee can choose a wastewater ratio of more than 3:1. If you want to try it, you can buy a double membrane water purifier. In the future, it is a big deal to idle ultrafiltration membranes and only use RO membranes.
.05 Condensing zero cold water gas water heater
The gas water heater is good, but it comes with two prefixes in front of it:
The condensing type is said to be "more thermally efficient", but the merchant didn't tell me that it would discharge condensate outward. When I installed it, I realized that there was an ugly open pipe next to the water heater, which was very in the way.
Zero cold water, the legend says that "turning on the faucet is hot water", and I buried the return pipe in advance in order to install it. But when I used it later, I learned that the water heater had been working since the "zero cold water" function was turned on, and the words on the gas meter were beating faster than my heartbeat.
Obuchi suggests: Condensing and zero cold water are not upgrades to gas water heaters, but just facelifts. There are some places that are better than regular heat, but there are also some places that are not as good as normal heat. Be sure to fully understand before placing an order.
