Rail Transit Line 18 has a total length of 29 kilometers and 19 stations, starting from Fuhua Road Station in Yuzhong District, passing through Xietaizi Station (temporarily suspended), Olympic Sports Center Station, Shipingqiao Station, Yangjiaping Station, Tanzikou Station, Huangjueping Station, Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Station, Power Plant Station, Lijiatuo Bridge Station, Chongqing University of Technology Station, Huaxi Industrial Park Station, Babin Road Wetland Park Station, Eggplant Creek Station, Baijusi Station, Funiuxi Station, Jinaoshan Station, Jumping Station, and ending at Jumping South Station in Dadukou District.
After the initial operation of Rail Transit Line 18, the first train departs at 6:30 and the last train departs at 23:00, with a minimum interval of 7 minutes.
After the opening of Rail Transit Line 18, it can be transferred with the rail transit ring line, Line 2, Line 5, Line 9 and Jiang Jumper Line in the near future, and can be transferred with Line 24 and Line 26 in the long term, effectively serving the four administrative districts of Yuzhong, Jiulongpo, Banan and Dadukou, the two major business districts of Hualongqiao and Yangjiaping, and the two universities of Chongqing University of Technology and Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, realizing rapid interconnection between regions, driving the formation of industrial agglomeration along the line, and effectively improving the traffic situation in the central urban area.
The completion and opening of Rail Transit Line 18 also marks the completion and commissioning of the first three phases of Chongqing's rail lines, and the number of Chongqing rail transit lines has increased to 13, with an operating mileage of 538 kilometers.
Next, Chongqing will make every effort to promote the construction of the fourth phase of rail transit lines and accelerate the construction of a "twin-city economic circle on the track".
