Artist Li Shuxian burned charcoal and died at the age of 46. At 9 p.m. yesterday (26th), Lai Shuxian's body was covered with a black cloth bag, and was transported by a servant from Ruttonjee Hospital to a black box truck and transferred to the Kennedy City Dorry Public Mortuary.
The incident occurred at 1:12 p.m. yesterday, when Lai Shuk-yin burned charcoal in her apartment at Nga King Terrace in North Point, and her husband came home to report it and call the police. Ambulance crews arrived and took her to Ruttonjee Hospital for emergency treatment, but unfortunately there was no way to recover. The police did not seize the suicide note at the scene, and the case was listed as suicide.
