From the outside, this car follows the square box body posture of the current Baojun Yueye, and the addition of the rear doors also leads to a significant expansion of the length of the vehicle, but the tire specifications may still be the same as the current Yueya, and the ground clearance and wheel size of the vehicle do not seem to have been adjusted accordingly with the increase in car length.
The blogger broke the news that the new car is expected to provide a parking range extension scheme and a battery pack of about 42 degrees, and the comprehensive range of CLTC is expected to be about 400km.
According to a previous report by IT House, Zhou Yu, deputy general manager of SAIC-GM-Wuling brand division, revealed in August this year that the five-door version of the Baojun Yueye model is already being made and will be launched in early 2024. Earlier, on July 30, Zhou Yu announced Baojun Yueye's range extender on Weibo, when the team was dealing with "how to silence sound".
According to the after-installation range extension plan announced by Zhou Yu, this system can increase the range of 4L oil by 80km, and the price is about 2000 yuan.
The existing Baojun Yue (two-door model) was launched on May 25 and is available in two models, the Flagship and Zhizun versions, priced at CNY 79,800 and CNY 89,800, respectively.
