Abstract: The Municipal Prison Bureau held a theme event to celebrate the 4th Chinese People's Police Day and the 2023 Emeritus Ceremony
On December 27, on the eve of the 4th Chinese People's Police Day, the national anthem of the Shanghai University of Political Science and Law was high, and hundreds of prison police officers dressed in navy blue police uniforms attended the oath to take the oath of the Chinese People's Police to join the police, witnessing the original intention and spiritual inheritance of Shanghai prison people who have gone through the storm and still cut through the waves and are determined to sail away. The theme event of "No Regrets from the Police Road, Dan Heart Forges Loyalty" to celebrate the 4th Chinese Police Day and the 2023 Annual Retirement Ceremony of Shanghai Prison Administration Bureau was held here.
The ceremony was simple and grand, full of remembrance and reluctance, but also full of joy and passion. Wang Dongsheng, member of the Party Committee and deputy director of the Municipal Bureau of Justice, secretary of the Party Committee and director of the Prison Bureau, pointed out in his speech that the holding of the retirement ceremony is of great significance, and it is a special commemoration sent by the Party Committee of the Bureau to every retired comrade from the police years and combat journey, and it is also a sincere greeting to the overall prison police on the occasion of the fourth Chinese People's Police Day, and it is also a sincere tribute to generation after generation of Shanghai prison people for their hard work, dedication, determination and progress, and promotion of the inheritance and development of Shanghai's prison cause. Ye Xin, member of the Party Committee and director of the Political Department of the Municipal Bureau of Justice, and Zhang Ling, a veteran leader of the Prison Bureau, issued retirement certificates and presented flowers to the representatives of the retired police.
At the ceremony, the participants watched the feature film "Wind and Rain Life" and relived the police work experience of 11 emeritus representatives from their green years to full of sideburns and gray hair. The precious old photos reproduce the moving stories of their love and dedication to their jobs with their youth to write their judicial dreams and engrave their love and dedication with time. In the interview, the two emeritus representatives recalled their decades of experience as a police officer, talked about their unique magic weapon and work experience in supervision and transformation, and passed the baton of continuous struggle to the hands of a new generation of young police.
Zhang Jixin, the former general manager of Shanghai Minxing Labor Tools Co., Ltd. and a senior police sergeant, has been in the police for 37 years, he will be born in the countryside, relying on hard work, the experience of becoming a senior police officer, he explained to the young police his career "love and dedication, forge ahead, low-key life, high-profile work, law and the world, Ze people's hearts" work creed, inspire them not to forget the original intention. Bai Lingjie, the former second-level senior sergeant of the Shanghai Nanhui Prison Office, has been a police officer for 40 years, and he expressed his deep feelings for prison work, and based on his front-line work experience, he shared his experience in individual education work. He sent a message to the young police, hoping that they would continue to carry forward the spirit of the red candle of Shanghai Prison.
The young policemen blessed the departure of the retired policemen with poetry recitations and songs, while the retired veteran cadres used the catwalk "Jiangnan Umbrella Dance" to open their different style after retirement.
