Professor Luo Fengming has been engaged in the research of respiratory diseases and the pathogenesis of high-altitude disease for a long time, especially in lung development, airway inflammatory response regulation, interstitial lung disease, respiratory intervention, and management of high-altitude respiratory chronic disease.
In 2018, Professor Luo Fengming led the Respiratory Endoscopy Center of West China Hospital to complete the first emphysema thermal steam ablation in Asia. He has presided over more than 20 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research projects, and published more than 80 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals, of which more than 20 are included in SCI. He has won the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award, the Natural Science Award of the Ministry of Education, and the Chengdu Science and Technology Progress Award.
