Recently, the reconstruction and expansion project of the Jinan-Heze section of the Jiguang Expressway (hereinafter referred to as the "Jihe Expressway") invested and constructed by Qilu Expressway Co., Ltd. The reconstruction and expansion project of Jihe Expressway is listed as a major construction project in Shandong "14th Five-Year Plan" and a strong transportation province, with a mileage of 152.758 kilometers, a total estimated investment of 18.614 billion yuan, and a construction period of 36 months.

Strive to run out of the "acceleration" of engineering construction

The reconstruction and expansion of the Jihe Expressway is not only a simple "4+4=8" lane addition, but also involves many difficult issues such as multi-party approval and coordination, land acquisition and demolition, traffic organization and many control projects.

Since the project was launched in May 2021, all the builders have fully carried forward the true character of the traffic iron army of "opening roads in the mountains and building bridges in the water", completed all the preliminary work in only 7 months, refreshed the record of similar work in the province, and successively achieved preliminary construction and full start of construction in March and October 2022. During the period, the project won the first prize of "Excellent Construction Management Unit" for expressway construction of Shandong High-speed Group in 2022.

Entering 2023, Qilu Expressway will continue to improve its momentum and enthusiasm, and in accordance with the overall traffic organization plan of "half-width closed construction, half-width one-way protection", it will successfully complete the road closure in the direction of Jinan and the traffic diversion of the whole line, and obtain the approval of the mechanical and electrical construction drawings of the Provincial Department of Transportation one month ahead of schedule. Especially since the fourth quarter, the project has continued to set off a sprint upsurge, and the project site has been reported successively: on October 31, the left width of the Yunjuhe Bridge, one of the control projects of the whole line, was successfully closed; on November 19, the asphalt pavement of the main line of the construction section of each bid section was paved; on December 12, it successfully passed the verification test of half of the delivery of the Provincial Department of Transportation......

It is worth mentioning that Qilu Expressway focuses on fine control and intrinsic safety to boost the escort project. The "Cloud Intelligent Management" information system has been developed and applied across the board, and all operation data has been included in the monitoring of the "Smart Brain" to achieve comprehensive, efficient and refined management and control. We have built a "2-level and 3-layer" grid management system, made every effort to build a "safe construction site", and realized the "intrinsic safety" from "strict monitoring" in the process to "intrinsic safety" in the results. Jihe Expressway was completed and opened to traffic as early as 2007, and the phenomenon of "bridgehead jumping" in some sections is more prominent. The project adheres to innovative empowerment and classified policies: in the bridgehead and the road section with large settlement and weak soil interlayer, the new technology of "spraying and reinforcing waste soil piles in the state of spraying and reinforcing the weak foundation" is adopted to significantly reduce the differential settlement; under the bridgehead lap plate, the dynamic design grouting treatment is adopted to better ensure the compactness of the old platform back; and the backfill quality of the platform back is significantly improved by using 4% cement soil and 3% cement soil to stabilize the milling material backfill.

The deep foundation pit of the pier of the Daqing River Bridge is located at 7.9 meters underwater, and the pouring construction is faced with the problem of difficult construction and high safety risk coefficient if the traditional steel sheet pile cofferdam method is adopted. The project successfully applied the "deep foundation pit monitoring system", the result of enterprise-school cooperation, to the whole pouring process, which not only ensured the safety of construction, but also ensured the stable and reliable quality of the project, and accelerated the construction progress of the whole project.

For a long time, problems such as staggered hole widening, uncoordinated deformation, and differential settlement have been common difficulties in the process of widening new and old highway bridges. The project innovatively introduced ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) materials, and successfully applied the bridge widening reconstruction technology, which significantly improved the connection performance and overall stability, and was the first application for the highway reconstruction and expansion project in the province.

Enhance "gold content" with "green content"

Green is unique to light up the light of cost reduction. In the process of actively practicing the concept of green and low-carbon, the project has also achieved remarkable results in "reducing costs and increasing efficiency".

Seek the "best solution" from the source of survey and design. Increase the proportion of width on both sides to 94%, make full use of the existing roads, not only protect the natural and cultural landscape along the line to the greatest extent, reduce the excavation face and damage to the forest land, but also significantly reduce the amount of engineering and construction difficulty, and greatly save construction costs. The use of steel truss girders and other structural forms can reduce the amount of longitudinal elevation of the new bridge section of Yuncheng Xinhe, and effectively reduce the impact on cultural relics and navigable rivers. The combined design of the greening project of the interchange ramp circle and the photovoltaic power generation project in the interchange area will not only effectively control the project cost, but also continue to release the ecological value of the road area.

Realize the "two-way rush" of environmental pollution control and improvement of raw material utilization. The self-designed integrated sewage treatment system is adopted in the concrete mixing station area, which significantly improves the effluent quality and sand and gravel recovery rate, and realizes "zero" sewage discharge and resource recycling. Some special road sections are filled with foam lightweight soil materials instead of traditional soil subgrades, which can effectively suppress dust pollution, reduce new land occupation and reduce construction noise. Research and application of four new technologies such as dry SBS modification of asphalt layer and low-noise roads, as well as environmental protection processes such as demolition of waste concrete recycling and cold recycling of asphalt Ruichuang material plant, so as to achieve multiple effects of energy saving, cost reduction and efficiency increase.

While a new green ecological road is slowly being rolled out, the cost reduction of the project has also created remarkable achievements - the cost per kilometer of the project is currently at a low level for the reconstruction and expansion of expressways in the province.

After the expansion and expansion of the new Jihe Expressway and its new appearance, Qilu Expressway will focus on promoting the upgrading of road operation services and upgrading in response to the trend.

The dense population and rich tourism resources along the Jihe Expressway make it an ideal choice for "traveling along the expressway". Qilu Expressway is the first to try, in order to meet the needs of the public and serve to boost regional development as an innovative breakthrough, a total of 24 "high-speed +" agreements have been signed with units along the line, and 36 cooperative units have been signed.
