From December 24th to 26th, the 8th Congress of Ludian County Trade Union was successfully held in the county seat.
Zhang Hongkun, secretary of the county party committee, Zhang Zuoyin, member of the party group and vice chairman of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Luo Zhongping, deputy secretary of the county party committee, Li Zhangheng, chairman of the county CPPCC, and leaders such as Yang Mei, Zhang Rongjiong, Yan Yinlin, Zheng Daqin, and Jiao Huancun attended the opening ceremony. 142 representatives of workers from all ethnic groups, all walks of life and all fields in the county attended the meeting.
At 9 o'clock in the morning of December 25, the conference opened with the majestic national anthem. Luo Zhongping presided over the opening ceremony. Representatives of people's organizations delivered congratulatory speeches to the conference.
Zhang Hongkun, on behalf of the four sets of teams in the county, expressed warm congratulations on the convening of the conference and extended sincere greetings to all the delegates attending the meeting, the vast number of employees and trade union workers in the county. Zhang Hongkun pointed out that since the seventh trade union congress of the county, the majority of workers in the county have actively participated in the fiery practice of Ludian's economic and social development, worked hard and forged ahead, created one extraordinary achievement after another in ordinary posts, and played the hymn of the era of glorious labor and great workers with practical actions. The trade union organizations at all levels in the county are upright and innovative, work hard, continue to strengthen the ideological and political guidance of employees, unite and guide employees to listen to the party and follow the party, loyally support the "two establishments", resolutely achieve the "two maintenances", adhere to the center and serve the overall situation, and actively organize employees to participate in economic development, social cause improvement, environmental protection and governance, poverty alleviation achievements to consolidate and promote rural revitalization, etc., and have made positive contributions to the county's economic and social development.
Zhang Hongkun emphasized that it is necessary to adhere to the leadership of the party, always maintain the correct political direction of trade union work, strengthen responsibility, and unite and mobilize the masses of workers to make contributions to promoting high-quality development. It is necessary to adhere to the worker-centered work orientation, strengthen self-construction, build the trade union organization into more energetic and stronger, grasp the most direct and realistic interests of the masses of workers, conscientiously perform the basic duties of safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of the workers and serving the masses of workers wholeheartedly, do a good job of contact and service with heart and affection, convey the voice of the party, and constantly improve the sense of gain and happiness of the masses of workers.
Yan Yinlin, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, on behalf of the Seventh Committee of the Ludian County Trade Union, made a work report entitled "Cohesion and Strength for Development, Practical Work and Responsibility - Unite and Mobilize the Majority of Employees to Strive to Promote the High-quality Development of the Ludian Labor Movement".
In accordance with the legal procedures, the General Assembly elected the relevant leaders of the Eighth Committee of the County Federation of Trade Unions, passed the work report of the Seventh Committee of the County Federation of Trade Unions and the resolution on the work report of finance, economic examination and female workers, and deliberated and approved the "Measures for the Replacement and Supplementation of the Members of the Eighth Committee of the Ludian County Federation of Trade Unions, Members of the Funding Review Committee and Female Workers Committee".
At the closing ceremony, Luo Zhongping stressed: At the new starting point, trade union organizations and trade union cadres at all levels in the county should adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, integrate with the central work of the county party committee and the county government, and integrate with the reality of their own regions, industries, departments, and posts, pool their wisdom and strength to achieve the goals and tasks set by this congress, have the courage to take responsibility, work hard, and strive to open up a new situation in the cause of the Ludian labor movement and trade union work in the new era and new journey. After the successful completion of the agenda, the 8th Congress of the County Trade Union closed with the International Anthem.
