A short story from a player:
I don't want to say how tearful it is, but I miss who I used to be.
It seems that after playing "Minecraft" for more than 10 years, in the process of building a house, we are still like a newcomer, no matter how advanced the construction skills we have learned, and how huge the building facilities are.
But we may still not know how to build a good shelter. The sprawling house always seemed empty and devoid of warmth and security.
When night falls, nothing makes people feel more secure than a pit, a fire, a book, or an apple.
A small bunker wraps itself tightly, and we can be like in the picture, we can be in a corner of the country, and we can call the world home.
After spending a lot of time in Minecraft, I feel more like a traveler.
Even if we don't like to travel around,
But the desire to explore has always pushed us to build simple shelters around the world. In cave after cave, a torch was lit that would never be extinguished.

Christmas in Minecraft.
Historically, Minecraft has not had any special updates for Christmas, except that in 2012, a Christmas holiday celebration update was added in JAVA Edition 1.4.6.
Every year from December 24th to December 26th, all chests in Minecraft (small chests, large chests, trap chests, minecart chests, etc.) will be transformed into a "Christmas chest" texture on Christmas Day.
To make Christmas even more violent, Minecraft has also added a flashing slogan - Merry X-Mas! (short for Merry Christmas).
There are no other updates.
The question is, why can a little Halloween, April Fool's Day Mojang do so much work, and burp when it comes to Christmas?

Naturally, no one bothered to update more Christmas elements.
But Mojang had plans in the past, for example, in 2012 Dinnerbone was planning to add a sleigh to Minecraft. Whether it's a joke or anything else, the textured skis of the sled did appear in the version at the time.
After all these years, Dinnerbone is also in a close relationship with Minecraft, and it is another matter if anyone can think of this sleigh in the future, let alone find a way to make it appear in Minecraft.
In addition to sledding, the Minecraft community has an interesting suggestion. If the player tames the reindeer on Christmas Eve, there is a 5% chance that they will receive a Christmas gift from the reindeer the next morning (real time).
Finally, a trivia fact: Christmas is celebrated on December 25 every year, but the Bible does not mention that this day is Christmas, but a day that people decided on in the third century AD.
