According to the Aiqicha App, recently, Douyin Vision Co., Ltd. added a new court announcement, the defendant is Guangzhou Huya Information Technology Co., Ltd., and the cause of the case is a dispute over infringement of other copyright property rights. The case will be heard at the Guangzhou Internet Court on February 22, 2024.
It is worth mentioning that up to now, Douyin and Huya have been associated with a number of court announcements. Since 2023, Douyin has sued Huya several times, all of which are disputes over infringement of other copyright property rights. Earlier, in 2022, Guangzhou Huya Information Technology Co., Ltd. and a number of "byte" companies in copyright ownership, infringement and unfair competition disputes were repeatedly tried in the People's Court of Tianjin Pilot Free Trade Zone, Tianjin ByteDance Network Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing ByteDance Technology Co., Ltd. and Tianjin ByteDance Technology Co., Ltd. in addition to Douyin Vision Co., Ltd.
