On December 24, the national finals of the 6th Digital Car Competition ended successfully in Qiandeng Lake Venture Capital Town, Nanhai District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. The "Long-termism" team from Tongji University and the "3L1Z" team from Chongqing University of Technology stood out from the finalists and won the special prize of the innovation group and the special prize of the entrepreneurship group of the 2023 Digital Car Competition respectively. The 35 finalist teams were divided into three groups: Innovation Group 1, Innovation Group 2, and Entrepreneurship Group. Among them, the two innovation groups respectively participated in the competition with the titles of "Data-driven Power Battery Health Status Assessment and Remaining Life Prediction" and "Vehicle Health Status Assessment Based on New Energy Vehicle Operation Big Data". The contestants in the entrepreneurship group showed a variety of topics, such as: the application of automotive big data carbon accounting mechanism, intelligent vehicle speed control system, battery design scheme, etc., focusing on the pain points and difficulties of the industry, gaining insight into the development trend of the industry, getting closer to the forefront of the industry, and encouraging the participating teams to put forward innovative solutions.

Gu Yaohui, Secretary of the Nanhai District Party Committee of Foshan City, proposed that the current "intelligence, networking, and new energy" are comprehensively reshaping the ecology of the automobile industry, and the Digital Car Competition, as the country's first innovation and innovation competition based on the field of new energy vehicle big data, is playing an increasingly prominent role in promoting the coordinated development of production, education, research and application, and supporting young students' innovation and entrepreneurship.
At the opening ceremony of the competition, version 3.1 of the New Energy Vehicle Big Data Open Laboratory was officially launched, and the South China New Energy Vehicle Industry Promotion Center of Nanhai District, Foshan City signed a strategic agreement with the National Big Data Alliance of New Energy Vehicles, which will give full play to their respective resource advantages and jointly provide data support for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship and subject research and development.
The University of Science and Technology Beijing and Shanxi Chenggong Automobile jointly signed the establishment of the "Joint R&D Center for Big Data Intelligent Management and Application of New Energy Vehicles", aiming to jointly promote the innovation and development of the new energy vehicle industry through school-enterprise cooperation.
It is reported that the finals of this competition are guided by the Academic Department of the China Association for Science and Technology and the School Planning, Construction and Development Center of the Ministry of Education, supported by the People's Government of Nanhai District, Foshan City, the Consortium of Intelligent Manufacturing Society of the China Association for Science and Technology, and the Society of Automotive Engineers of China. The competition has been held for six consecutive years.
With the theme of "Digital Innovation, Landing in the Future", the finals of the competition include the opening ceremony of the finals, the defense of the finals of the competition, the policy and enterprise presentation, the symposium on hydrogen energy industry in Nanhai District, the exhibition of team works, the enterprise auto show, the award ceremony and other activities.
